This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

It was another week and a bit more frustration as I continue to be in a streak where it both is not good enough and where luck also isn't fully on my side. The main thing I'm doing now is keep on grinding while keeping my stakes at a minimum. I really want to bet more and purely financially I'm able to but right now this just isn't smart as I need to have the belief to actually have an edge on the market. Right now the way things are going is that bigger bets where it feels the lines are off all end up losing while smaller bets where I see winners without a real edge on the line end up winning. At least most of the time.

I also took way too many 1.8 odds bets this season and am trying to make a shift toward somewhat higher odds again by default. I also plan to take less bets but with somewhere around d0.4 unit stakes each.

I did not have any confidence to take any highlighted pre-game bets so I'm still down 7.7 units on them this season giving a bit back of the overall profit of the previous 4 seasons.

Season 2024-2025 Personal Betting Chart

The crash in the season chart now is pretty steep and I'm now down close to what I expected to win with the volume that I got in so far. Variance is a bit but at the same time I don't think that it is the reason I'm not where I expect to be this season. The market simply is harder to beat and I need to improve which I hope to be able to do going forward. In the end, I'm only down around 3 units on the season which isn't the end of the world and there are still plenty of matches left for hopefully my form and luck to turn.
