Not That Easy

Powering Down Is A Big Decision

This week I will be pushing the power down button and this is a very big decision considering the only time it has been pushed was when bailing out of the last blockchain. That was an easy decision and this one is very different as this is where we are in the market cycle and is all about taking advantage of the situation we find ourselves in. I was hoping to keep my HIVE in the HIVE eco system so we shall see how that goes. I guess most will be on Binance to capture the pumps and dumps and it will find it's way back to HIVE.

For the last 7 years minus two months my account has all been about accumulation ad that is not changing as the hope is I can grow my account far quicker with a few swaps or trades from now until the end of the cycle. The aim has not changed from day 1 and that is to grow as big as possible being able to offer support to others at the same time.

I am very positive about HIVE for the future possibilities that it holds and being a much larger account would only create more opportunities to earn. I can remember others in the previous cycle who said they were selling to buy back cheaper and never lived up to their promises. That is their prerogative and their loss as far as I am concerned.

HIVE is just too much fun to miss and I believe crypto is only getting started ad we have seen nothing yet. Being early in any crypto project will have testing times and I am sure there will be still plenty to come in the future. The real value of what we have all built are still anyone's guess and that is the unknown yet to be revealed.

When you have spent so much time and energy in growth there is not suddenly going to be a change of heart on my point as I know I am here for life. This is what HIVE does and it becomes a way of life and is the best type of adult game around. That is how I see crypto currently as I have never cashed out 1 token as I have been fortunate enough to never have the need and definitely not the desire. Wen you enjoy the stacking and accumulation it does become addictive, but I see it as a good addiction as it helps generate wealth.

The crazy part is those that need the money are the ones who should be building a portfolio and not spending it. How is anyone going to improve their financial situation via crypto if you are constantly diluting your stake. The truth is they won't and that is the missed opportunity I see many wasting away. There is big money available and if done correctly life changing for many if they only gave it a chance to grow and compound.

The last bull cycle I had roughly a $200K HIVE value with the remainder of my shrapnel crypto which was loads of bits and pieces tallying up to another $50K. Those bits and pieces have all been cleaned out having changed to being more organised and focused with the aim of doing far better this time around. The difference this time is the knowledge gained from the first full cycle with no selling and this cycle selling will happen.

Yeah. Same. And I understand how some never do the buy back some people plan to or promise to.

I might be unstaking to trade but my end year goals remain unchanged!

I am currently not planning to power down any HP. Have accumulated a nice liquid stack of HIVE over the past year which I am planning to Sell.

I wish you good luck selling HIVE and buying 1 million HIVE in the next bear market.

Nice one man, you have a clear strategy and I feel I know you as well as one can know someone on hive having never met, and I believe you'll buy back in again in the future when the paterns repeat themselves. I may well power down a chunk myself and lock in a price I'd happily take on Binance and then play the waiting game. I'd happily sell some Hive at $1.50 and I don't think it's unrealistic to see it reach those heights this year.

Yes $1.50 would be seen as bottom end in my opinion and would be seriously disappointed if that was it. I need to re verify my Binance account and will do it this week before powering down.

Here's hoping. I had debacle getting my Binance sorted to be able to withdraw funds a few months back. Eventually got it sorted, but itvwas hard work... In one way it was good though, scammers would do well to get at your funds.

My long long plan is to accumulate as much Bitcoin as possible and then lock it all away on a hard wallet. Play waiting game for 10 to 15 years and hopefully be sitting on millions worth by then.

There will only ever be 21 Million Bitcoin to the end of time and lots are lost, so the overall number is even smaller...

Yes I think you cannot go wrong with Bitcoin, but other crypto will rise quicker. The last cycle if I sold everything I would have had 4 Bitcoins so it will be good to check after this cycle. At some point I will buy into Bitcoin but not yet. Security is a big issue and why I have been hesitant with Binance.

Wow 4 Bitcoin, could be potentially a fortune maker, but then again maybe better not to have all eggs in one basket and Bitcoin doesn't compound like Hive either... Maybe back both horses... Agreed on security 👍

Definitely makes sense in your case. In my case I don't have enough HIVE accumulated to try to make it trading the pumps. I will take a slow and steady approach accumulating HIVE through this bull market and next crypto bear market and will hopefully have more HIVE in the future so that I can actually power down and try to play the pumps.

For now I am focusing on increasing my HIVE power as much as possible and to focus on author and curation rewards generation. I will play this bull market with my other speculative crypto (ETH, ONDO, AERO, NEAR).

You gotta have liquid Hive at this time, the opportunities are just too big

Thats my plan I started back in November, I will grow faster this way and put more back in later. Still growing my other tokens though. Leo bag will stay though.
