My COTI Treasury is slowly growing with an overall target of 200K being my main crypto focus these days. This target is on track to achieve this by April next year or as close to that time frame as possible. With just this weeks staking I am able to generate an extra 0.7 COTI daily which is 255 COTI per year. This is slow progress, but this being done consistently over a period of time the growth achieved will shock you. The same will hopefully happen next week along with the beauty of compounding being your secret weapon.
What would help is to increase the GCOTI staked as this offers an extra 24.06% when staked 1 for 1 with COT and GCOTI. The level 1 tier I am staked in is a no risk APR offering 6% when locked for 360 days. The other tiers are off limits in my mind because of the risk of liquidations and even though we think we are near the bottom there is no chance I am going to risk it all and will not be tempted. Greed gets you into trouble and there is no need to be greedy when you are earning a decent return.
Currently my stake generates 32 COTI daily and will rise by 5 COTI to 37 COTI daily on the 15th August when my one stake unlocks and I can maximize by doubling the APR. Once I eventually achieve the 200K COTI and GCOTI whenever that might be this would be worth 160 COTI daily and even at these low prices is nearly worth $650 monthly. This is a far cry from the roughly $130 monthly return that my stake generates now.
The scary and exciting part is once COTI V2 goes live in Q4 later this year and the Private Payment Networks along with other use cases start generating funds they all filter back into the Treasury boosting an already excellent APR. This along with the value of the token rising could see these earnings easily being worth between $6K-$20K monthly in the future. This is passive income on steroids and why this particular project is so important to my portfolio.
No one knows what our crypto is going to be worth in the future and why doing research at least gives you some insights into what it can become. A $2 COTI in the future which I see as a very low estimate would see the monthly earnings in the $10K-$15K region which would offer a decent lifestyle wherever you live in the world.
For those of us that continue to build our portfolios knowing the value we could be holding it is important to remain focused and to not be distracted with FOMO coming from other projects. The real money is made when the crowd comes to your investment and not by following the crowd.
