Hello everyone!
This is my first post on the platform with which I would love to introduce myself to all the lovely people here.
I am David Ebuara from Cross River State of Nigeria, the people's paradise😊. I was born in the city of Calabar as the third child to a loving and close-knit family of five children, this moulded the loving and chaos-free person I am today.
I completed my secondary education at the prestigious Hope Waddell Training Institution and proceeded to the Federal School of Surveying, Oyo, where I bagged an OND in Surveying and Geoinformatics. I then proceeded to the University of Uyo for my BSC programme in the same department where I just concluded my project defence and awaiting my final result and certificate.
As a student, I love to research and gain knowledge in fields related to and even divergent from my field of study. Talking about fields that are related to my field, I love to carry out research in the fields of web development, data science and database management and as it concerns my field, I love the aspect of drone mapping and photogrammetry as a whole which informed my final year project of mapping an iconic structure in Akwa Ibom State called the Dakkada Tower using Drone mapping.
As funny as it may sound, my hobbies change with time. I remember when my hobbies were listening to stories or reading them from novels. After a while, they changed to watching movies and analysing them, I binge-watched all the series I could lay my hands on during this period😅. For now, I think my hobbies are podcasting and listening to same.
To get away from my serious life, I cool off by visiting the park and taking strolls near the waters. This is because I am a lover of nature and take myself around it when I need to calm my nerves from stress. Still, on the matter of likes, I am a lover of humanity, I believe strongly in the equality of rights among humans since the absence of oppression fosters love and happiness. I love community, family and all the good things in life.
Other things that get me excited are listening and engaging in meaningful and edifying conversations, teaching people what I know about a particular thing and learning from them also. This takes me to why I joined Hive. Apart from connecting with the community here, this is a conscious effort I am taking to understand the web3 space and improve my research and writing skills, thereby building capacity and developing myself.
I thank @johnuko for finally getting me to join the trend, always preaching about the platform, talking about how it has helped him build capacity and how it will help me do the same.
I also have @uyobong to thank, also for introducing me to the Hive community and putting me through on how to get started. Thank You! I anticipate a wonderful time learning and sharing on the platform.
