Money Follows Value And Service
One thing I have learned over and over recently is that money goes hand in hand with value and service. All you really need to do is figure out a need in your surroundings, but have no access to, and find a way you can service that need. In a neighbourhood where a lot of people drive but there's no auto mechanic shop, be the auto mechanic shop. What value do you have to add to make people’s lives better. People are all about a better life and will buy into anything that makes their life better.
You Don’t Need To Start Big
You don’t need to put in 50,000 into Bitcoin and wait for the bull cycle to hit the jackpot. Use what you have, your skills, and the service you can provide to society and you’ll make it too. Maybe not as big as the person who put their 50,000 into Bitcoin, but you’ll still be off to a great start.
You can start with as little as $100 in my opinion. As long as you take your time, analyze and invest that $100, you’ll be good to go. In fact, you literally can start with no investment in the form of money. Take blogging for instance.
Everyone Started Small
If you were to trace the biggest Wallstreet punks to their genesis, they probably started off broke with no idea whether they would make it or not. Most of the rich successful people you see started out just like you. Except for the few who grew up with silver spoons in their mouths but that’s just how the universe works. In an unfair way.

There’s No Shame In Doing Business
One thing I find very common in people around here is their fear of people judging or looking down on them because of the business they do, and this is why people down here are broke to the core.
I’ve heard a lot of the youth around here underestimate farming so much that they’ve vowed they wouldn’t farm even if it meant they’ll be poor their entire lives. Everyone wants to be in some kind of “respectable” business where they drive the latest flashy Tesla and use the most recent iPhone or fly on business trips and vacations every month. Look around, if there are not that many people like that in your surroundings, chances are you won’t be one either. Not to knock you down or anything.
A Business Requires Flexibility
Most people fail to realize that a business is the needs of the people around. A business reflects a service lacking in your surroundings. A business is not just a title or something setup solely for one purpose.

Once the needs of your surrounding changes, either your business needs to change or your location needs to change too to reach your target market. You were running a bookshop but the school moved to a different location, move with them or to a different school.
Back at home, we run a cosmetics shop where he sell pomades and stuff like that. The business booms during harmattan(this is season where people’s skins look very whitish and scaly due to cold if they don’t put on enough pomade). In the rainy season, we still run the cosmetic shop, but we also venture into agriculture by selling pesticides , fertilizers and weedicides.
Networking Is Key
Networking is important in so many ways in your journey to success. You need to link and be connected to the right people that are more achieved than you and can offer you help in both guidance and on a general basis. Good networking can change your life!
Your Reputation Sells Your Business
I think you know I’m not talking about the little number next to your Hive username here. I’m talking about your “name” as most people refer to it. A business is as good as the reputation of it’s owner.
If your name has ever been connected to any business that has dubbed people for instance, less people are likely to want to do business with you. On the contrary, if you're known to be an honest person, a pro, top of his game, guess who everyone will want to do business with?
