Hey guys,
I'm Kevin from Germany and until recently I never heard of crypto gaming.
Which is quite funny since I spent ten hours per day in front of an pc and I love gaming. :)
How did I found out?
Well I was watching a twitch stream of a German streamer who was playing a game called Crusader Kings 3. When the game was done he mentioned something about a game where he has to finish his daily quest. I had nothing to do so I kept watching.
When he started the game for me it looked like Magic: The Gathering. Of course I know Magic and I have played Magic Arena for a while. I also own a bunch of Pokemon cards and have played some auto battler.
He explained the game briefly and the thing that got me hooked was the fact that the cards you buy und win are actually yours! They are like a share that will lose and gain value and can be purchased and sold.
The next day I was watching his stream again and decided to have a closer look at the game.
Splinterlands is not new, it was launched in 2018 as Steem Monsters and became Splinterlands in 2019.
I started my journey in mid February 2022.
So far it is a rough path with full of mistakes I made.
I will start a small series of posts where I will present these mistakes to you. Maybe it will help someone.
Until then... have a good one!
cheers Kev!
