I want to share some methods with you that I use to earn a few extra dollars of Cryptocurrency on the side. We all love earning our favourite tokens such as $HIVE and $LEO. Especially during the market dips like we have currently been seeing the past few weeks, the constant lows are new opportunities to gain!

These are alternative methods I use to earn extra crypto on the side, which I then convert and trade for $HIVE when making withdrawals from these platforms. When used together, these methods have helped me generate a decent amount of side income.

COINTIPLY

Cointiply is a "GPT" site which stands for "Get-Paid-To" they will have a lot of different ways to earn such as downloading apps, watching videos, completing surveys etc. We don't really care too much about those, I will browse the downloadable app offers from time to time but that is about it.

All I use cointiply for is the free faucet spin per hour as-well as the "PTC" "Paid-To-Click" section, as shown below is the free faucet spin, you will win a specified amount depending on what you've rolled, it's pretty simple and straight forward. The plus here is Cointiply offer a loyalty bonus to your spins, the amount of days you've span in a row can effect your outcome, 100 days in a row = x2 profit.

I know 100 days sounds like a lot of effort to potentially make a few dollars on the side, and it definitely is. I don't know what's happened, but my account seems to be glitched. I did not use Cointiply prior to last month for well over a year for personal reasons, but my loyalty bonus has permanently stayed. So every spin I do earns me x2 due to the loyalty bonus.

With a bit of luck, you might hit one of the higher rolls and earn 336 coins × 2 = 672 coins, which equals $0.0672. I know that’s not much, but when you convert it to $HIVE or $LEO, that six cents is worth over 0.20 HIVE or more than 3.0 LEO tokens—all from a single free faucet spin. In the long run, these small earnings add up, helping me accumulate more HIVE over time.

Another Cointiply feature I frequently use and enjoy is the "PTC" (Paid-To-Click) section. Essentially, you open an advertisement and wait for the countdown timer to finish in order to receive your credits. It’s pretty simple—once I open an ad, I don’t bother staring at it. Instead, I tab out immediately, and the countdown timer continues to run in the background. The system doesn’t track whether you're actively watching, only that the ad remains open.

Using the PTC (Paid-to-Click) section can help you earn a few extra pennies daily, depending on the number of people purchasing PTC advertisements. On some days, you could earn upwards of $0.10 just for opening a few ads in your browser—then tabbing out and returning to Hive, as I do. 😅

Another useful feature on Cointiply is the "Rain Pool." If you're already participating in PTC ads, you might also qualify for the Rain Pool, which allows you to earn extra tokens over time without any additional effort. Your earnings contribute to the pool, and rewards are distributed based on your engagement. You can read the stipulations and terms below.

In the screenshot above, you can see my account’s value sitting at around $14.40. I decided to withdraw it to make this post—unfortunately, my timing wasn’t great, as the market dipped shortly after. I chose to trade into DOGE since its price was similar to HIVE at the time. My plan was to swap DOGE for USDT and then purchase HIVE with those funds. However, DOGE has dropped about $0.07 per coin since my withdrawal, so I’ll likely hold onto it until it pushes back closer to the $0.30 range (hopefully). As of now, my holdings are worth $11.10.

FREECASH

FreeCash is another "GPT" website. You will earn through various methods, such as downloading apps, playing games, reaching specific milestones or challenges within those apps/games, or completing surveys.

I prefer reviewing game offers to see what they require. If an offer looks easy enough or even fun I’ll download the game and give it a try while earning some pennies on the side. The best offers pay well and can even be enjoyable in the process.

Despite having my account for three years, I only started actively using and earning in mid-2023. Since then, I’ve earned a total of £909.74 —equivalent to over $1137.34.

That’s a LOT of $HIVE! Especially if I bought in during the lows.

These earnings all might not be huge, but they add up over time! especially with easily reached reward goals, such as completing a game tutorial, reaching a certain level, testing apps, or simply downloading and opening the app. All of them offer different monetary rewards, the better the offer the better the reward.

Offers seem to be quite crappy recently I won't lie, it picks up at random. Just need to check in from time to time to see if a bunch of new offers have been added you can browse through.

Another useful feature to FreeCash is the daily reward section, if you have earned over $1 in the past week you are eligible for a free $0.10 claim or to try your luck at "climbing the ladder" and improving your rewards. I always tend to just take the free daily $0.10, as within the week I am eligible to claim that is another free $0.70. Which currently would be 2+ $HIVE for absolutely nothing, one click a day.

Here’s proof of the majority of my withdrawals. I choose to withdraw via Litecoin (LTC) to Binance, then trade LTC for USDT, and finally swap USDT for HIVE. I also tend to sit on my earnings until a market opportunity to withdraw such as a big dip, I like to see endless red graphs when I withdraw. Makes for more profit in the long run, recently when the price of $LTC hit $90 I cashed out, turning my $6.29 into $7.7.

Obviously not huge leaps in profit, but every little amount helps here. $1 more is still an extra 3+ HIVE in today's markets and we've seen HIVE hit hights of $3 per, $1 could turn into $9 one day.

PUBLISH0X

Publish0x is a content publishing platform where users can create, read, and share articles on various topics similar to what you might find on HIVE. If you’ve been in the HIVE space for a while, you may have already come across Publish0x.

Publish0x allows readers to tip authors with cryptocurrency from a daily "reward" pool provided for content published on the site. The tips are distributed by the platform and are divided between the author and the reader based on the reader’s choice (e.g., 60% to the author, 40% to the reader).

A lot of fellow Hivers tend to cross-post their content to Publish0x also, especially finance-related as it's more eyes for your content and rewards for your effort. Some days I only earn an extra $0.03 from an article I've reposted to Publish0x but on the same foot, that $0.03 is 0.10 HIVE. So everything does add up!

Even if you don’t publish content yourself and are just looking for ways to earn more on the side, this may not be a huge income source. However, using your daily "tips" will definitely add up over time.

I wasn’t a major poster on Publish0x, but I did log in daily to use my tips and reward authors. From the content I did post, I typically earned small amounts ranging from $0.01 to $0.20 or more.

My total earnings from Publish0x over the past year or two are around $61. I know it’s not a huge amount, but every little bit adds up especially in conjuction with the other methods I am sharing, at the end of the month you could see yourself with a decent bag of extra HIVE!

I don’t maximize my earning potential on Publish0x, but I’m changing that! From now on, if I write content that I can also publish on Publish0x, I’ll be doing so, with the goal of increasing my earnings. I’ll then withdraw and dump those earnings into my Hive Power! The only downside is the withdrawls as they happen in batches, every weekend batch payments are sent out.

So aiming to time the market for a sensible withdrawal with Publish0x might not be possible as you could be waiting days for your funds to show up.

SerpClix is a service that focuses on boosting search engine (SEO) rankings through organic click-through rate (CTR) manipulation. It might sound complicated, but bear with me.

SerpClix uses a network of "clickers" who are paid small amounts to search for specific keywords and click on target sites. This approach simulates organic user behavior, which appeals to those looking for a quick way to improve their site’s rankings.

That’s where we come in. If you’ve signed up for SerpClix and downloaded the browser extension, you’ll be waiting for "orders." These orders are simple:

You click the order, and it will automatically copy a search term, which you’ll then paste into the Google search bar. Once pasted, you search and simply browse until you see the SerpClix tab highlight with "GO!" or until the outlined red box appears around the order/website you need to click on.

Your SerpClix orders will look like the following image, once you use the website and become more acquainted with how it all works you will be earning anywhere from $0.05 per "click" to **$0.10 **per.

With certain factors in play, time of day, country you reside in, overall pending orders to user ratio - I get between 5-30 orders daily. Some days perhaps less, it all depends on certain websites paying to boost their Google rankings via search engine "natural" searches. Some days are endless, some not so much!

Once clicked you will be obligated to stay on the website for the orders length - as shown below this order was for 60 seconds before the website auto-closes and you are awarded your payment.

For very minimal effort—essentially just keeping your browser tab open—I love SerpClix for the money it has provided me and how little effort it requires. At this point, it’s almost brainless: I get an order, click it, paste the search term, click the correct link, then tab back out and continue what I was doing.

If you find yourself on the computer a lot, SerpClix is a perfect background earner.

That's all I've got to share, I hope anyone reading can take appreciation in free earnings whether small or large! I do tend to put everything I earn these ways towards accumulating more $HIVE, it's helped out a lot in the last year and I was able to power myself up massively thanks to the minimal effort here and there.
