Hello everyone, today I’ll be talking about journaling. Journaling is not about just writing down, to me, there is more to it. Journaling is so therapeutic. It makes you write about your thoughts, it helps you know how you feel or how you’ve felt. Journaling helps you understand your emotional self when it comes to mental health. I personally do not have a journal book, I just pen down anything I want to write on my phone with my note app, it is more accessible and convenient for me. There are a lot of benefits journaling can help you with when it comes to your mental health.
I have been on Hive for years and it is in those places where I do express myself, even though I don’t share my business with people around but I am just comfortable doing that on Hive and I know it because you can simply put or you feel into writing. Journaling might seem crazy till you start doing it and the best thing about Hive is that no one can ban your account Making your piece forever on the internet as long as the system is still running.
One thing journaling really helps to reduce is anxiety. When you write down the way you feel it helps process them and it really calms the body. It is just a way of talking to an imaginary self and for people that are in their head so much journaling helps with that. Another thing journaling helps with is creativity. It helps boost confidence and also helps in writing. Journaling can help build writing skills and improve your own style. Hive for example has helped a lot of people to develop their writing skills. It might not be the best but it is a gradual process.
Journaling is so interesting that you can actually look back and read some things you’ve once written and smile. Journaling has helped me at times my heart is so heavy I just pen down and think about the solutions to my problems on my own without disturbing anyone. When you cultivate the act of journaling, it really helps with personal growth and development. You process your emotions and feelings, you seek answers and you gain clarity. Journaling makes self-awareness it also helps with goal setting overall it improves mental health and creates a safe space for expressions. When you make journaling a habit, a level of creativity has been unlocked.
