We need a system

Some people find it difficult to change their habits and others don’t struggle when changing their habits. Most times is not as if these different individuals have a special ability to stop a habit or the other individuals don’t have the ability but the difference is that one of them knows the basics and follows it. which is, when you want to stop a habit you have to create a system, no matter how good you are, you will always fail even though you wish to change the habit without creating a system. When you talk to people about creating a system they believe you have to draw a plan on the sheet of paper, which is wrong. Creating a system is identifying little things that matter.

people on the other hand don't understand the importance of little things that add up and we fail to realize that everything we do in life compounds, we don’t always see the significance of these little things. We are always focusing on the big events, the big changes and that’s why you see that people have dates and times for the big changes in their lives, but they don’t look at the little things, the little sacrifices, and the little changes that they have to make to create that big event, and those little things are the systems that you create to change a habit.

you know how to create a system we must face the reality. We must be willing to work towards it.

to change habits, we must ask ourselves how we get trapped in the habit in the first place, what are the things that trigger us to do the habit? Why can’t we stop it? Why do we find it difficult to change our habits?  immediately we can answer these questions on our own. It will be easy for us to change all the little things that matter.  those little changes are the things we have to do to set our path right, those little things that we are changing are the things that lead to the big event of changing or overcoming bad habits but sometimes we might ask ourselves these questions and still lie to ourselves and this is where the real change comes in.

some people ask themselves questions like these and they know the answer to those questions, but they believe they can find other ways around it. most people believe they can manipulate or bend the truth, but the truth is if your willpower is not stronger than your excuse, you have already failed from the beginning. The main reason why some people can change their habits is not only because they change the little things, but also because they are committed to changing the situation. There is no amount of things you know in this world when you are not committed to changing your situation. You might remain like that for the rest of your life.

To me, systems are like the scaffolding we use to build a building, without it, the building wouldn't be able to stand. I think asking the right questions and looking for their answers is a good foundation to start in creating a system.
