I have a few tricks up my sleeve for hive-engine trading, and one of them is to look at the market cap of a tribe token in HIVE terms - this allows me to compare the value of a tribe to the value of the whole HIVE, and can give me some ranges to know when things are out of whack.
Is it likely that a tribe can be worth more than the whole HIVE blockchain? No, that would mean that it is overpriced, and has happened before and gave me an indication to sell. But equally, when the value of a tribe gets so low that it's silly, should we take a second look at buying some?
Today let's talk about CINE.
Underlooked HIVE tribe: CINE
CINE is an established tribe among a second wave of tribes, launched on HIVE by the @brofund's @raymondspeaks with great help from @stickupboys and many other team members. It has a full hive-engine tribe package (including NFTs) and a beautiful front end that has had a lot of work done on it. Let's check the market cap....
That's right, the full market cap of CINE is worth just $5,000 USD, or less than 12000 HIVE. Its not always the case that development costs should be reflected in the token price, but I can say that Ray has invested much more than $5,000 USD in this token and its development.
@raymondspeaks is also involved in many other projects, such as the @brofund. What are the chances that Ray is satisfied with this price level, and won't put one or two grand into the token price some day in the future? I think, knowing Ray, it is quite likely he will 'pump the price' some day in the future. Maybe as soon as DRIP pumps. The future is uncertain, who knows, but can we make some guesses?
I think we can.
I mean, they actually have an active community of weekly challenges about all sorts of topics. What holds CINE back is not lack of people interested in the topic, its (HIVE) onboarding and perhaps a bit of strategy.
I mean take a look at this weeks discussion challenge:
I also like the weekly Frey's Findings, where they give us an update on what the kids of today are watching. I think this could be a useful blog even outside of HIVE, but it needs some twitter promotion.
There is value here, perhaps most of it untapped. Since I work with a Synergy Mindset, I identify an undervalued asset, move into position, and also HELP the project to realize the true potential that I see. It doesn't always work, but it raises the odds extremely favorably.
So today I am talking to LeoFinance peeps.
Don't sleep on CINE
Grab a bag if you are interested. Join in on some discussion or content creation about tv and movies if you like. Participate in the strategic outreach for HIVE using CINE if the opportunity presents itself.
The future is up to us, and I for one am not sleeping. In fact, I have a set of 8 NFTs up on CineTV.blog.
Each of these NFTs represents a role that I have starred in over the years, you can see much of the same information in a more boring fashion on IMDB. 7 of them have youtube links as well to watch the performance, for some reason Farmer Rudy doesn't, but it is on Youtube - this is probably my error when minting for not including this link:
As I have written in many other contexts, we are on the cutting edge of exploring the uses for these technologies. An NFT that represents a cinematic role and includes the link to see the performance might not be a world changer - but it sure seems like an interesting use case to me.
Currently I am offering 8 INCOME tokens (1 per NFT) to the first person to collect a full set of my NFTs. You can check the price to see if this makes sense to you, if you are someone looking to buy a few INCOME tokens, this might be a way to get them a little cheaper - and have some silly NFTs too!
