I think I need to make a podcast, and talk twice a week about some of these topics, post it on 3speak. That's what I decided in my dreams last night anyway.
Being in the US is very different from being in Colombia, up here, I am pleasantly surprised at how many people have at least heard of the things I like to talk about, some even have exposure to crypto, some are interested but not enough to invest money, some are still certain that its all part of some apocalyptic premonition, but even then are also worried that the dollar has become both digital and untrustworthy.
It is also of note to me what recently happened to Nic Carter, who I consider to be one of the most interesting people to listen to, he writes a lot and I like to read what he writes as well. It doesn't hurt that he looks a lot like a friend of mine from Colombia, one civil engineer that I have a nice longstanding friendship with.
So it turns out, that 'everybody knows' that toxic maximalism isn't right, isn't valid, and isn't even logical. Since when was the first iteration of a new technology the only version that mattered? We know that we can continue to find new uses for these techs. We also know that there is a lot of grift and fraud and worthless shitcoins out there. Such is life. But even if the number is 99%, which it might be, it doesn't mean that bitcoin is the 'only one'.
Nic knows this, and is quite articulate in his response.
I feel this way too, you might remember I got insulted on twitter for pitching my token to a bitcoin maxi - it did surprise me at the level of vitriol, but it did not deter me in our plans to build the bridges into the world we want to see in the future, the world we are working hard to create.
It might say something about how toxic twitter is as a space. Could it be that the limitation on characters somehow limits the expression of our character as humans? That would be interesting especially for the implicit pun.
As much as I enjoy writing my blog, and I do enjoy it, I think that a space to speak out weekly or bi-weekly would do me some good as well. I think the time has come to start a podcast on these topics - a way for me to use 3speak, and integrate fully with the V4V network that @brianoflondon has bridged HIVE into, get into New Podcast Apps and be able to have friends and family, as well as strangers around the world, listen to me talk about the very interesting (and sometimes rambling) things I have to say about often niche topics.
Making a podcast is the next logical step, and it connects everything I am doing and makes it all way more efficient. It will probably help me clear my head and not stress as much about details that I might not have anyone to talk to about. A grab bag crypto podcast - something like....
Eco's Crypto Instant
Or something like that. I need a logo for it. A cover image in order to start my podcast. I have HIVE SBI for anyone interested in taking a stab at it!
Let me know, I can even use ancilliary art, so nothing is wasted, send me your drawerings, I'm working on seeing if I can get this started from the US.
