In my post about metaverse where I shared about Samsung availing the technology of metaverse for taking their business to new heights.
I also wrote that I would not be surprised to see some other giant companies companies diving into the metaverse, embracing it and avail it for their business use..
Now we have United States large and powerful organization with its branches all over the world McDonald's which is a big brand is also making a move towards the technology of metaverse by filing around 12 trademark applications, 11 of which are related to virtual restaurants, cafes, virtual services, goods etc.
Josh Gerben who is the Founder and Trademark Attorney of Gerben Intellectual Property shared in his tweet about these applications which are filed by the fast food chain.
These applications show that McDonald's may be planning to offer virtual food, products, digital products and NFTs.
McCafe is also included in the applications for metaverse by McDonald's. McCafe also is looking to include virtual food, other digital products ans NFTs.
This move has come in a situation where tech and other big companies are looking into the metaverse technology for spreading their business.
Some time ago we have seen Walmart and Crocs filed applications for trademark showing that they are looking into offering virtual goods, NFTs etc.
We saw the electronic giant company Samsung also entering the world of metaverse to spread it's operations and business by arranging an event unveiling a new temporary store in the virtual world of Decentraland (MANA).
