There's still lot of buzz surrounding the outcome of the US presidential elections, so I might as well keep talking about it. There are certainly loads of lessons to learn from it, and there's also quite a bit of entertainment for those of us who just love to see drama unfold.
It isn't everyday a President loses his seat, and it is even rarer to see a comeback. What happened a few days ago was quite remarkable. Of the many lessons to go home with, the one I want to highlight here is how a delay in outcome is very capable of leading to an even better outcome.
Am pretty sure most Trump loyalists have experienced both the euphoria of victory and the agony of defeat. The 2020 elections outcome must've felt like the end for most. This comeback is truly something remarkable because it is one of remarkable resilience and preparation over the course of four years. It didn't just happen.
Whichever side of the divide you are on, you have to admit that it is a great story to tell. What's more is that the emotions felt four years ago have been completely replaced by new ones, and perhaps even better ones than 2016. One of the best lesson I take from this is that whatever we want to accomplish in four years has to be in the menu right from the get go.
