I know that last month I said that I wanted to get back to regular blogging. A week later, I managed one post and then. Well. Life. Some happy, fun things and then. Death.
A week ago our friendship circle lost a young man - all of 43 years old - who did not wake up in the morning. He was a farmer's son and worked there, around the valley and had a short term accommodation business. His father found him. Be was a gentle giant. In the literal and figurative sense of the word.
Tomorrow we go up the mountain to bury him and say our final farewell. And show his parents and family how he was loved. I shall forever remember how he cared for The Husband and me after he died. He leaves an enormous hole in our friendship circle.
Life goes on
Because life does go on, I am at least powering up today, having swapped my HBD for Hive.
Then powering up:
My resolve to get back "ïnto" regular writing remains. I have to work on how RL gets in the way.
Until next time
