Should a Whale's Yes or No Call Affect Our Market Decision?

Have you heard of the Words "buy" or "sell"? While you must have heard of these words or use the words interchangeably, there are two people who I believe usually manipulate the market because they can play with the mind of investors triggering buys and sells. You see people like Michael. j. Bury saying 'Sell', and Jim Crammer saying 'Buy' are forces that people have to tend to follow. In 2008 when Michael bury said people should sell, he was right he has done the same several times and he just did Yesterday the 31st of January 2023, people are already seeing the impact of that call on the market, and both stocks and cryptocurrency are feeling it.

This is where I begin to wonder, do we sell or do we hold? Why do we allow people who we have come to believe as market forces to determine the market? He later explained that this was because of the CPI known as the consumer price index. I am not concerned about his reasons because they can be true but my concern now is can't this be a way to manipulate the market? Do you not think that whales and big hedge fund managers can cause a market shake just to suit their calls?

Someone then come to say to me "don't you see that companies especially tech companies are cutting down on employees? My answer is Yes, they are cutting down on employees and this would affect inflation but then we still have to understand that these things are there for us to see by ourselves and not because someone said this, then we start to look for errors and mistakes where they might have been for a long time that you didn't notice. We should be able to decide what we think the market is going to do and not allow these people to play the market at their will.

I think it's dangerous to watch whales play.

Little fish have to have their own plans and follow them diligently 😉

You have a point, but you know these whales know how to play brain games with us, and humans are naturally greedy, so we always want to follow the words and make the money

Well yes, let's say that quanot whales have to look at how to increase their profits, otherwise they wouldn't be whales right?

Maybe one day we will be able to have their means and their skills and then we will be able to play with them too eh eh!

Whale games are not for minnows

But Minnows suffer from these games. You can imagine people falling apart and selling because Elon Musk wants to buy a token but decided to make the price drop to a reasonable amount so he can buy. It is very annoying when it is a hedge fund manager doing the manipulations.
