This is the weekly update on the progress of SplinterGlossary. But since it coincides with the LEO PowerUp Day, I'll make room for that at the beginning.
With this power-up, I moved above 9k LEO, which places me well ahead of the schedule for achieving my 10k LEO stake goal this year.
But let's move on to SplinterGlossary because I have some interesting definitions to share.
What Is SplinterGlossary?
SplinterGlossary is that section of LeoGlossary that defines a glossary of inter-linked terms and definitions for Splinterlands. LeoGlossary is focused on financial, general crypto, but also including Hive and Leofinance terms and definitions, banking terms, and a series of specific lists.
Numbers of the Week
This week I added 6 new terms to the glossary, so we are now at 308, almost all defined. If I won't add more terms, in max two weeks they'd all have definition posts (which is different from defined, since some are too early to be defined).
Some Details
I finished defining all abilities, as expected.
Besides abilities, I added a couple of interesting definitions.
For example, I discovered there weren't any terms/definitions for the SPS DAO (or related). So I added:
I also decided to create a definition post of our own for Binance Smart Chain (BSC), with information about Splinterlands on BSC, and linking to the article we previously used.
Two other definitions I added are:
Plans for Next Week
I'm actually reproducing this paragraph from the previous update because it's still actual:
After abilities, there's mostly only land-related definitions left that would need further details to be defined. But I will start adding the definition posts with something like 'information missing for now', but with the title, header, footer, and the link in the glossary, which will help speed up things when I'll have the information to fill in.
Final Words
Remember that the success or not of this project depends a lot on the contribution of others. When you use terms defined in SplinterGlossary in your Splinterlands/gaming posts, it would be great if you'd link them to those definition posts.
Also, if you notice something wrong with any of the defined terms, please let me know in these weekly updates.
