I was just looking at coinmarketcap and I noticed that Bitcoin is doing extremely well, at least looking at its behavior the last few months. It's market price is over $31,000.00 each, a price that has only been seen a couple of times in the last year. Of course, this is great news for crypto, as Bitcoin is the benchmark. If Bitcoin is doing good, most alts also do well.
Is this the beginning of a bull market? Well, nobody really knows that, but it could well be. I as just a watcher and someone who just gives his opinion without much backing it, just think it is incredible what we are seeing. Bitcoin was not doing so good until a few weeks back when we had the news that the Blackrock BTC ETF was a reality. The price went up to $30,000 only to come back down once it was known this was just "Fake News".
But somehow, BTC did not go down as far as it was when the news started and now it seems it is breaking out. I believe this is a good time to ask some questions. For example, is Crypto so fickle that it takes just some fake news to either see it pump or dump? Or are there really market events that warrant the hikes in BTC price we are seeing? Are whales involved in this? Is it a good time to invest in crypto, especially Bitcoin?
I think the whole thing depends a lot on people's feelings, fear, hope, denial, even greed all have something to do with the fluctuations in price. These feelings are also present in government's handling of crypoto, especially fear and greed if you know what I mean.
So I think we are not really out of the woods (I say we just to say it, I am not really invested in crypto) I think crypto still depends a lot on intangible things which cannot be cotrolled. Still the good feeling of seeing it pump, is something that cannnot be taken from people who are followers of crypto.
