Not sure how anyone can root for Trump in all honesty, but with that said, I respect your opinion, I just don't agree with it. For me, the man is a megalomaniac, an egotist. For me he has zero redeeming characteristics. He does not give one shiny shite about anybody other than himself. It's no coincidence he pops up in Home Alone. The man's an actor. Plays everybody for his benefit.
The leader of your country should be a role model, a statesman, an orator. This guy is an embarrassment from everything I have seen. America needs a young, passionate, dynamic leader, not a self centred egotistical and greedy old man.

Ya maybe role model was a step too far!! I accept that. Clinton and Obama seemed like more suitable candidates to hold the highest office in the world. Bush and Biden less so and for me Trump definitely not.
I'm an outsider looking in though and don't have all of the first hand experience you have. Who knows, If I was American faced with Kamala or Trump, maybe I'd have voted Trump, ya just don't know until in the situation I guess.
Anyway we can stick to music, sport and finance if you prefer. I do find though talking with people with different opinions to your own is very valuable and can lead to more rounded opinions, albeit I'll accept my comments on Trump above were not at all balanced. I just really can't stand what he stands for and the blatant lies he tells. I know all politicians do it, but Trump is so brazen about it.
