Overcoming Challenges

When we become consistent towards achieving our goals/success, we are going to develop a skill of overcoming challenges. A person who possess the ability to overcome challenges will definitely achieve success, it will only be a matter of when. But how does consistency make us to be able to overcome challenges?

It is quite simple, when we are trying to learn a new skill, such as programming, we are definitely going to reach a level where we would get stuck and confused. Many people will give up and say that can't continue any longer. But if you are consistent, you will continue practicing everyday, researching different articles, websites, videos on how to tackle that challenge. A week might go by, a month might go by, but if you remain consistent, you will eventually get a solution to the challenge. With the knowledge that because of your consistency, you were able to solve/overcome that challenge, you will have confidence that you will be able to overcome every challenges that comes your way by been consistent.

This is the reason why they are few wealthy people and many people who are not wealthy. The wealthy people are very consistent because they know that they will be able to solve every challenges that come their way by been consistent and achieve their desired success. We all know the famous inventor of the light bulb, Thomas Edison, right? He said and I quote

I have not failed 10,000 times—I've successfully found 10,000 ways that will not work. Source

To achieve success, we need to consistent and according to the popular and famous movie actor, Dwayne Johnson;

Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come. Source

Passion

When we become consistent towards achieving our goal/success, we get more passionate about it. Consistency makes us more passionate on what we do without us even knowing. But how?

When you are trying to learn a skill, let's say programming. If you are you learning everyday and you are consistent with it. With time you become more passionate, because you see it, as part of your daily activities and since you spend a lot of time with learning the new skill, you will be trying to explore everything about it, and whenever we explore, we get intrigued and fascinated about the new skill and your passion in learning your skill will greatly improve. When we have passion in what we do, success is already close by. Consistency makes more passionate about what we do and that will result to us achieving success in what we do.
