Celebration is something that makes everyone happy, even though you are not having a party or you are not making it known to others you still have some of happy kind of feeling.
Iโm celebrating my one year anniversary on hive blockchain and also today is my one year anniversary in my business as a hair vendor too๐when I found out they both were on same day I was surprised like wow! Because these are the things that changed my life and gave me hope that I can grow in life.
This one year, has been with ups and downs, it has been a difficult one because starting a business or starting something new, one has to be emotionally and mentally strong not only physically.
One Year Of Ups and Downs
When I started hive one year ago I was discouraged, looking at different contents and thinking of how I would fit in. I was not strong enough to keep up so I stopped engaging and posting on hive because I felt my content would get lost in the midst of other contents, I did not believe in my self.
When I stopped hive I focused on my business so I could have a livelihood. But it was not easy too because I needed customers and they were not forth coming. I wanted to give up to but I realized you need consistency and patience to achieve anything in life so I worked harder and became stronger.
I returned to hive, October last year and I began engaging and writing trying to be consistent and hardworking and I can say it worked out because now I feel I belong here. I have been earning and solving life problems, I have also improved my knowledge on blockchain.
Grattitude
I havenโt made much profit in my business but all I can say is that I am grateful that I have a business of my own and I know I will continue to grow and excel in my business.
Iโm happy that even though the journey has been difficult so far causing sadness, happiness, depression,mood swings. I want to thank God that I did not give up.
Iโm grateful to the people who has supported me so far, the people who has been encouraging me, Iโm so so grateful.
Finance
Looking at my finance I canโt say Iโm pleased because I feel I did not work hard enough and I spent on others rather than my self.
My financial status in my one year on hive blockchain improved, I was able to assist my mum and my siblings with the help of hive and my hair business.
And this year I have decided that I wonโt withdraw anymore HBD as I want to contribute full time to the blockchain. I pray I can keep up to this.
Achievements
Looking at my one year in hive I can say that I have not really achieved a lot because of my unseriousness, But recently I achieved something huge which was built by @leofinace. I have been feeling lost and floating in the blockchain, but I found something I was happy to engage in and that was when they launched POLYCUB.
I was was reading about the launch of PolyCUB in @khaleelkazi post and I was always saying to myself that I would invest in it and when it launched it did, I was very excited to have participated in something huge and meaningful, that I wrote about it here
After investing in this project I started feeling like I have done something good and it made me believe I can grow on hive blockchain.
In my hair business I can now be proud of myself that I can fully satisfy my customers without any complain.
When I started selling human hair extensions, I did not know much about it, so i was always been cheated by my suppliers and would sell ugly hairs to my customers. But now I understand the inside out of selling and buying of human hair and Iโm so happy I have achieved that knowledge.
How I want my Second year
I want my second year on hive to be greater than my first year on hive.
Looking at the start of this my second year I want to be positive that I will achieve so much on hive blockchain and invest in so many projects.
I want to make more meaningful post and also contribute to this wonderful community.
This year I want to be consistent and I have found a wonderful community that can make me useful which is #makeuppower Iโm glad I found this beautiful community.
I also want to have enough finance to invest in hive too because I believe it has a great future.
Conclusion
During the past year, giving up came as an option, Iโm glad I did not take it but improved and encouraged myself.
My one year in business and on hive blockchain has thought me that, consistency and patience is the key to success not forgetting hard work and engagement๐
