Hey folks.

All of the presidential contenders are actively incorporating Bitcoin into their campaigns in the United States. The CEO of Bitcoin Magazine and a campaign advisor to President Trump on cryptocurrencies, David Bailey, has declared that President Trump will take part in a "Presidential Roundtable on domestic bitcoin mining," a future event centered around bitcoin mining.

The upcoming event is referred to by Bailey as "history in the making" and described that it would feature titans of the mining industry having a meeting with the “next president of the United States.” Nevertheless, he didn't show which individual miners or companies are interested in being part of this future experience.

However, in a following post on X, Bailey shared that recognized actors in the industry would be part of this meeting. He said:

Mining industry has stepped up in a big way- they’re going to make a great first impression.

In May, Trump said that his campaign would accept donations in cryptocurrency during a non-fungible token (NFT) gala, signaling a shift in his views on cryptocurrencies and their regulation. He also criticized President Joe Biden's grasp of crypto, emphasizing that he was ignorant of it.

Trump stated that he would stop the Biden Administration's actions of crushing crypto vowing to create the future of crypto in the United States, rather than making the crypto firms leave the country. Bailey claims that Trump even asked if it would be possible to use bitcoin to address the "$35 trillion U.S. national debt problem."
