Well few hours ago, I add my thought as regards bitcoin mining and little do I know that a major collaboration is coming sooner or later. It was reported by CNBC that the technology giant TESLA will be teaming up with Block which was formally referred to as Square and BLOCKSTREAM in building a data center in mining bitcoin.

They creating a medium where the progress of power output, storage and also of the solar system. The project which is valued at $12 million dollars is set to be built in the state of Texas, the facility which will make use of Tesla solar panels and it’s proprietary battery storage packs which is at voltage rating 3.8MW and the battery storage packs of 12 MWH which are to be supplied by Tesla. This should be able to provide at least a minimum of 30 PH/s hash rate.

In the bitcoin conference is was spoken about that we are yet to see a new generation of bitcoin miners, ones who makes use of renewable energy and I feel this is a good start. Adam Back who happens to be the co-founder of blockstream see this an 100% proof of renewable energy mining the first and the largest cryptocurrency according to it’s market capitalization.

If this comes into limelight is a proof and step towards the fact that bitcoin can be mined with zero energy emission which will definitely drive the growth of the digital token. A relapse on Tesla’s approach towards bitcoin, last year it published that tesla held a total of $1.5 billion dollar in their total investment on bitcoin. Later that same year the company began accepting bitcoin as a means of payment for their electric cars.

The firm at first had no clue about it’s effect of bitcoin mining environmentally hence they abandoned the idea, but with the zero emission rate using solar energy as a power source it will definitely see to the growth of bitcoin and possibly it’s general acceptance.
