The emergence of digital assets and other relative digital resources, we have witnessed a total transformation of the digital world and the crypto space. Layer 1’s blockchain technology and its broad development(s) which amongst whom is the ENS (Ethereum Naming Service) which a specific name is used and registered to make on-chain transactions/payments.

The project which is built on Layer 1 chain (ethereum), is said to be a critical part of the Ethereum ecosystem encouraging other layer 2 projects to integrate with the naming service. Owning an ethereum naming service cost averagely 8$ to own one. The Ethereum founder Vitalik in a tweet on X encouraging all Layer 2 - All L2s should be working on (trustless, merkle-proof-based) CCIP resolvers, so that we can have ENS subdomains registerable, updateable and readable directly on L2s.
