As we have stated in our Fundraiser and previous Articles, we are currently living out the situation of being thrown out of our current home. In about 2-3 weeks we will be leaving the house for good and going on an adventure to find a new home.
Our current destination is aiming for Croatia, where we have 2 properties on our sight which we could afford with the tiny budget that remains to our name. While we have enough to cover the costs of the property & house needing renovations although livable. We do not have much more left other than about several months of covering our living costs at best.
Our Vision is to use that time to build a solid foundation in our creative works, crafts and creations as independent artists, gain enough traction to cover our living costs using that, and dedicate the rest of our time in fully building out our Bee Sanctuary.
The Bee Sanctuary is inspired by our Vision of creating an Oasis in which the Bee is first and foremost not at all commercially exploited, furthermore gets to keep the fruits of his hard labor, and survive on his own honey instead of cheap sugar water through the winter. A place in which we wish to further discover and explore the amazing discoveries that Paul Stamets has made, in regards to the unknown albeit crucial symbiotic relationship the Bee has to Fungi/Mushrooms. We wish to implement the different layers of this new found understanding into the environment that is in our care and the home of our Bees.
We setup a GoFundMe Page inititally, but since some were hesitant to use that platform we also created a Fundraiser Page on our Artist Website with more direct means to send us support & finally now we have created an actual Nft Collection On OpenSea, where we have created a way in which those in the crypto crowd can offer their support & while basically also obtaining a certification of donation. We have given our NFT series a unique Reward system, in which those that Donate by purchasing one of them, will receive the right to actually Name one of the Hives they helped contribute to (Golden Grade Donations) & having their personal name/nickname & their donation engraved as commemoration on one of the hives itself (Gold/Silver/Copper Grade Donations).
