Hello all Splinterlands warlocks, I am very happy to be back active here once again, after a long inactivity with my blogging, I am excited to write here and participate in the Splinterlands weekly challenge. Today, I write to participate in the battle mage secrets weekly challenge and for this week, we have the Taking Sides as our ruleset. Stay tuned and watch out for my entry here in this battle.
Before we commence with the battle, we have to briefly discuss the ruleset of the battle we are going to have.
Taking SidesNeutral Monsters may not be used in battles. There are no special tricks for this ruleset but make a balanced team.
Other rulesets were also given in the battle I would be sharing and they are the Armored up & Weak Magic rulesets.
Summoner Used:
I used General Sloan Summoner which adds one range attack to all friendly monsters. This summoner costs 4 mana and it is a level one card. With my line-up, I had four monsters and they were Chaos Knight, Captain Katie, Pelacor Arbalest, and Venari Crystalsmith. My opponent had four monsters in his lineup as well, including the great Quora monster, haha.
Battle Rounds
First: In the first round, after all the monsters have taken effects from the summoners, his Quora attacked my first monster with its magic damage followed by another magic attack from the Mycelic Slipsspawn monster. Captain Katie on my lineup also attacks Mycelic Splipspwan followed by double range attack from Pelacor Arbalest monster in my lineup.
Venari Crystalsmith also range-attacked attacked Mycelic Slipspawn monster of my opponent before the round ends.
Second: In the second round, Quora with the highest speed among all the monsters attacked first followed by Mycelic Slipspawn which eliminated my first-position monster (Chaos Knight). Captain Katie also magic attacked and eliminated the Fungus Flinger monster which increased all stats on his Quora monster.
Also, Captain Katie gained an increase in all stats from the Bloodlust ability it possesses. Pelacor Arbalest attacked and eliminated the Mycelic Slipspawn monster of my opponent and also did some damage to the Quora monster. Before this round ended, I was having 3 monsters whilst my opponent had 2 left.
Third:
In the third round, Quora attacked me first as usual and then did 6 damages to my health, after which Captain Katie followed it with 4 magic damages and then Pelacor with 3 double damages to Quora's health.
This created a good opportunity and chance for me to eliminate the Quora monster and there we go, the Venari Crystalsmith monster did the job perfectly well and eliminated it by damaging the last two health left with its range attack.
Fourth:
In this round, I had three monsters left on my lineup whilst my opponent had just one. I was relieved in this round when I eliminated Quora in round 3.
With just a single magic attack from Captain Katie, I eliminated the last standing monster in his lineup and won the battle. That was quite a challenging but interesting battle I had there, with no expectation of winning but then I sailed through. Check out the battle link here
This was a brawl battle and I am glad to share that with you guys. I hope you enjoyed this post and the battle as well. Images were taken from Splinterlands website. Also, the ruleset definition and image were taken from Splintercards.com.
