Did you know that the DHF Proposal by LeoFinance had reached 100% of the needed support threshold? It's amazing to see that Hive stakeholders have given their go signal to the project's proposed or requested fund for onboarding. That means the marketing will start in September and would last until December 2024.
People behind the project, including its users being supportive of its success, it will be interesting to see how the goal of increasing or doubling the active userbase of Hive will grow over the next 15 months.
Speaking of goals, it's the new week once again and whilst it is a day late, it's time to ink in (although not literally) the update of my progress towards my LEO and HIVE targets.
Setting goals and announcing them certainly makes one accountable. At least that's how I think based on my own experience here. When I said "announcing," I meant writing about them and then tracking how you are progressing. Well, doing that helps keep me motivated and pushes me through especially when I am under the weather (like today).
So here we go:
Leo Power
22,000 LP - 21,073 LP
There's 923 LEO more to go to reach that number. It's still August and many things could happen in the next weeks and months — would my Leo Power growth slow down or will it go faster which means a new goal would have to be made?
Thinking about the good possibilities excites me. But first, here's how it grew from last weekend:
Week 30: 20,973 LP
Current: 21,073 LP
100 LEO was added from since the 1st of this month. A very small percentage but it's still growth. As usual, these were author, curation and delegation rewards. These three are the main sources of the LEO which I am staking during normal days or post and pre-LPUD.
Hive Power
2,000 HP - 1,906 HP
94 HIVE more to go for this goal to get checked off. I may have underestimated myself for setting the bar low, but I think it's also a good trick which keeps me going.
I'm now starting to consider what number to set in the next 2 weeks or probably three. But there's no rush, we shall cross the bridge when we get there as they say. Meanwhile, here's how the last week had progressed:
Week 30: 1,900 HP
Current: 1,907 HP
7 HP was added. A paltry amount but again, it still shows growth no matter how tiny it is. These were a mix of author and some 4 HIVE that I manually powered up in the last few days. I had a plan to stake at least 1 HIVE each day for the whole month of August but I missed a day already which sucks but well, we can try it again next month.
Overall, the last 7 days had been okay and if I am to rate my performance as Tito Ed often does, I'd give myself a 5 out of 10. Hoping to do better this coming week.
By the way, what do you usually do with the HE tokens that you don't intend to grow? Do you keep them anyway or sell them as they appear in your wallet? Would be interesting to know.
