I had been eyeing Leo for quite some time, but I only got serious about it in the past two months. It was kind of a personal goal to get as many badges as I could from @hivebuzz. But now it is a full-on mission. No matter what. I want my badges, and it's surprising that things get easy as you progress. I remember the time before the Dec 24 Leo Power Up Day. Counting days, looking at Leo Wallet. Calculating the daily returns on the Leo Investments and how short I am from my target 150 Leo Power up. And as the day approached I panicked. My usual approach when something critical or unpleasant approaches me is to think hard and come up with an excellent EXCUSE.

Yup, that's my usual strategy. Work on the excuse as I didn't work on the solution before. But this time around I didn't wait for the Last day hoping that Santa Claus would show up apologizing for why he skipped RamaLinga Nagar last Christmas and would give me 100 Leos for making me feel bad. Nope.!! I am a grown-up man and I shall face this situation as a Man and buy it out. And that's what I did. The post payout and the Daily delegation reward amounts to 50Leo from Dec 16th till Jan 13th. That's because I was out of the blogging action and bedridden (May sound like an excuse, but when every part of the body is screaming, you don't care if people think it is an excuse). The only way to get that Badge is to buy Leo. And I bought it the same day, because why wait when you gonna do it anyway.

So the grind of the last month was lousy, No Surprise there. The only surprise was the Hive reaching 0.60 USD, I kinda wish that I had some liquid Hive on me for cashing out as all of my Hive is staked. But that's Ok. I can wait, as I must learn before I earn. I am learning the art of money and its mindset. As a student, my primary focus is learning. And so far what I learned is there is a build-up period, which can last months, maybe years. This is a period of grind where you build up on the asset before reaping the profit. And I believe Leo is at that stage. So the best course of action is to hoard as much as possible and have a sizable wallet.

With that goal in mind, I am aiming for a power-up of at least 150 Leo on LPUD. So by the end of the year 1800 Leos should be in my wallet. What’s the good old saying, Something is always better than nothing. This Leo wallet is going to my something.
