You only lose money when you sell

If you are willing to stay paycheck to paycheck for a few years, the bear market means nothing to you. You buy because you did your own research, you hold, you hodl through the bears, and eventually the markets will pick up.

If you focus in short term gains, your decision making process might vary, but if you are in for the long run, and you have the means to live out of your portfolio, then you have nothing to worry.

Recessions and bear markets squeeze the living hell out of people who can't afford to maintain diamond hands during the bad times.

Take this knowledge, and do what you must with your portfolio. If you can't endure the bears, sell now, but if you decide to hold through everything, then be ready for a rollercoaster.

I'm not predicting anything, this is just general advice for investing, do what you must with this.

We've seen this part of the cycle play out before in crypto.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been desensitised to the drawdowns haha.

That's why it is very much advisable to just utilize the bear market to invest rather than sell in other to get more benefits when the prices eventually rises.
