It's the first day of the month so it's time for another Hive Power Up Day. However, I will still do my powerup and see how far I did. As usual, I will set some goals and see how I do next month. I didn't set any goals for last month thought because I didn't make a separate post for it. I forgot about HPUD and just decided to add a small section about my powerup on my weekly goals update the day after.
Hive Power Up Day
More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the January HPUD post by "@"traciyork. I didn't see a post by her for a few months so I don't know if there are still rewards for it. I don't qualify for rewards anymore but I will still power up each month as part of my general monthly task. I didn't track my HP last month so I am unsure how much I earned but my HP has gone up quite a bit.
My current HP before powering up is 11,823 HP and I plan on powering up 100 HIVE this month. I am powering up 100 HP for now to build more of a buffer for my HP goal. I am on track after my powerup last month, but I would prefer it if I had some extra leeway. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link.
My Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2024 is pretty much my hive goals for 2024. So this portion of HBD has been moved towards my weekly updates towards my goals and my latest update can be found here. My HBD goal has been kind of achieved so I have been swapping some HBD into Hive. It allowed me to power up the 100 Hive this month and I also moved out some Hive into Hive-Engine to get some tokens there if I want to.
Monthly Goals
Here I will set my goals for the month and review my previous month's goals. As I didn't make goals last month, I reviewed what I put in June.
June Month Summary
I got my blog post goal and comments without too many issues. My HP goal that I set 2 months ago was reached but it looks like it was around the right amount. As for LEO Power, I got my LEO goal and I was able to get some LEO from the CUB buyback. I should still visit threads to earn more LEO though.
It looks like I didn't get all the LENM that I put up last time. I will put an order for the missing amount and what I set for this month later today. As for Splinterlands, I think aiming for 10,000 Glint a season in end rewards seems reasonable as a choice. Since we get 2 seasons a month, that would mean around 40k Glint a month.
August goals
I will just use the monthly goals as usual because I haven't set any yearly goals.
- 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
- 1,000 comments for the month
- 12,300 HP
- 10,100 Leo Power Staked
- Buy 4 LENM
- Earn at least 40,000 Glint
Conclusion
As usual, I am just doing my usual activities on Hive at night. It's always good to look back and make sure that my own goals are on track and that I am making decent progress. I revised my goals and made some changes according to what I saw. Showing up each day matters and it has been paying off. I am doing quite well toward my own goals even if HP is slightly behind. So long as I am consistent, I believe that the growth will continue.
