I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2024 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. We are done with the 7th month of the year and we are in the 8th month. If I need to towards the end, I'll push whatever is behind when that is needed. However, I am wondering just how much I need to purchase if things continue the way they are now. I am progressing well, and I have plenty of Hive sitting on the side in case I need to push any goals. I made a mistake last week when I put down 33 instead of 32. So last week is week 32 and this week is week 33.
Progress
Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week is looking a bit better than last week but I still think that I am doing quite well on my own goals so far. Progress is progress as it all adds up over time.
HP
I earned less than last week, with 60 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. The number is lower because last week but progress is still progress. The effects of the HBD interest rate drop have changed my weekly HBD earned from 10 to 8.
HBD
I gained 7 HBD last week and I decided to deposit that HBD into my savings. The interest that I get right now doesn't seem to be enough so I will add in some HBD every month to get myself there. My order from last week did fill and I collected 34 HBD from my HBD interest. I think I should earn around 32 or so HBD a month so I need to cover the remaining 25 or HBD that I need for my yearly goal.
LEO Power
I only earned 22 LEO between last week and today but I am still fine with my goals right now due to the buffer. It's not as much LEO as I would like but I still haven't gone back to threads. I saw that there is a LBI diesel pool and I wonder if I should pool my tokens there for some return. After someone new took over, I am optimistic but I am unsure whether or not I will do it though.
Conclusion
My progress is looking fine so far. All of my goals are ahead of where I need to be right now. The HBD goal is looking quite good as it has passed the 82% mark. The interest rate going down means that I should add more to make up for the difference, but this goal is within range. Other than that, the rest of my goals have gone quite well and I am ahead of where i need to be right now for every single goal.
