Hello, it's @josediccus and @joetunex here again. In today's session, we talked about how the fear of failure stops people from making attempts that are necessary for growth. Before we digressed into other aspects of business and finance, we analyzed Hive as a social platform that thrives on the use of interaction to create impact which could lead to knowledge, skills, and networking.
However, we talked about how the act of potential efforts might lead to zero success or achievement and how this often scares people from creating their social identities and beginning to enjoy the process. We discussed uncertainty and how its fear cripples one's potential. This means that irrespective of failures or successes attempts eventually teach us. No one even learned without having to go through the process of attempting.
However, we justified this by discussing how failure can dent the morale of people and how people avoid failure altogether because they do not want to suffer the effect of inferiority in their lives. In the video, we talked about various real-life issues where we've made attempts in life and succeed altogether. These experiences majorly focused on the financial decisions we've made concerning life and business and how some were successes and others major failures.
Going on, we admonished people to be creative and relentless even in the face of failure as we often underestimate the effect of continuity and how it changes our approach and mindset towards failure. In the end, we acknowledged that getting over the fear of failure is no mean feat and we can overcome this by consistently growing our resolve and putting in our best.
