Awesome. I am adding you to my list of people that I will look at when it comes to setting goals and achieving them.

I started the year with 313HP, sitting on 348HP now, my goal steps go up in 50's so 350HP was next with 400HP after that. 500HP is also a big milestone and gets me off that redfish status.

You could imagine how your 62 HP a day seems absolutely insane to me! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Look, I am actually onboarding and teaching people about Hive as we speak so I keep telling people that your first 10HP is the hardest to earn and they should want to get to 50HP as soon as possible.

However, you are in a completely different league!

Dare I dream of getting 1000HP? Or 10,000HP?

One step at a time... as you say... show up daily.

Soooooo achievable! I mean, the biggest target I had when I first started was hitting 500 HP...And back then, Hive (steem) was around 5 bucks a token lol

And had next to nothing to my name, so that seemed like I would never reach it. But I just kept chipping away. 5 HP here, 10 HP there...It really starts to compound once you hit 500.

Your journey is quite amazing so far. I wonder where my account will be in a few years and I think I can at least double my account at least. However that would definitely require some consistency and there is no room to really slack off that much.

Pretty much everything I don't stack...I sell BEE, just because I want more WORKERBEE lol. But I don't really earn that much in tokens I sell. So if I get 50 cents or a dollar in a few, I'll flip those into tokens I wanna stack.

As the old adage goes, "Success is not a destination, it's a journey". We don't just wake up one day to find we are successful. When we "plan our work and work our plan", therein lies our success. We get to choose what our targets are and how we want to reach them. Then, as we complete "another 7 ho-hum days", we begin to realize the successes as we see the progress we have made.

What an incredible journey. My own journey lags your by, well, probably years, but there is something so encouraging about trying to make this happen in HIVE. It is very nearly addictive, I think because the community is so creative and always creating ways to engage, invest, and earn. Whether you like poetry, movies, gaming, finance, sports, probably even the dreaded tulips (jk) there is a home for you in Hive. Every time I read a post about how someone is doing, it adds to my motivation, so thanks! In the words of Journey, don't stop believin'!

My Journey has been amazing so far. I have learned a lot in the past 11 months, my business has grown so much, not just the business but my understanding of my business has also grown.
I have really ramped up my activity on Hive, so I cant wait to see where everyone is on their journey this time next year.

Setting goals is pretty great but what matters most is working towards achieving set goals. What we see most often is people who set goals but lack the discipline and zeal to accomplish them. It's great that you keep reminding yourself of your goals and that makes you get closer to accomplishment.

Likewise, my major Hive goal for this year is staying consistent in engaging. If I can do that then, I'll be the greatest achiever here. Secondly, I am poised on increasing my stakes in the second-layer.

So, the important thing is to keep showing up everyday regardless of whether you get upvoted as expected or not. The more you keep showing up, the more curators find you serious and the better your odds at getting their upvotes.

I didn't get any major upvotes for the first year or so being on hive. Every vote you get, I'm grateful for. But we need to produce and add value, with no expectation of rewards.

100 HIVE rewards a day sounds amazing, but what about HBD? As it mimics a stablecoin I think that should be part of the goals as it helps in troubled times. Any thoughts on that?

The interesting part is when you look back and see the progress that you have made it is very reassuring that those daily activities and steps that you take are worth it. Keep setting the example for the rest of us to follow. It is very motivating to know that after a period of time of consistent effort, I too will be able to achieve the goals I establish along our journey on the hive platform.

My Hive journey trundles along slowly and relatively steadily at the moment...

Now that college term has finished here in Japan I'm working on my primary affiliate marketing funnel and associated Wordpress blog, autoresponder series, squeeze pages,thank you pages and what have you. Spent most of today working on a new version of one of my freebie ebooks... This journey is more like a quest... but it is giving me a lot of fresh content to post on the blockchain over the next few days... One project supports another!

Honestly those are my two main reasons why I post my weekly goals update is to both keep me on track but also to show others what is possible and what I've been doing to hit those goals if something didn't work out or did work out. It allows me to do a quick snapshot and get things figured out.

I do have to say 1up is really kicking butt and it's something I just recently started to focus in a bit more on and put some goals to it.

List nerds I'm stacking away on. I think I'll double up both my CTP and Listnerds credits there (maybe 4x the list nerds credits as mine are a bit low) and just kick that thing into high gear. I'm only getting a few emails so far but I know more will come in.

Breaking goals down into smaller chunks help us reach any level we want!

This is what I've been doing since this year, first set my yearly goals, cut them into 12 parts for monthly review as well as weekly. Being on top of the weekly goals has given me a good understanding of how much I'd need to do to achieve them. So far it's been going good, only the HBD savings have been postponed as I want to reach my SPS goal first :) If would only look at my yearly goal, the journey would have possibly become a struggle as I wasn't on top of them from the start and falling behind made it too hard to catch up.

Another nice thing to be on top of the goals is the response as I've read a few times I inspired them to do the same and more people join this, so together we BUILD :)

A note about my LISTNERDS journey. I have decided to unstake about 50% of all the tokens I'm earning and reward List Nerds members with some contests and giveaways going forward. I'm still going to be buying tokens though each week, so this number will go up and down a lot!

Nice! My problem is I have to pay bills with this stuff so allot of times it’s hard to keep stacking up. Plus I am finding a struggle on nailing down content that earns a decent amount. Like one week, rewards are good then the last 3 weeks have been garbage for the amount of work that goes into doing allot of this, especially videos. That’s allot of work for the rewards to be next to nothing. Although I know I have said before it’s not all about the rewards, but, it’s beginning to when you are trying to live on it and you can’t get a decent upvote to save your life… Yeah venting… it’s been a crappy couple of weeks for posting, at least for me. Even my curation as gone unappreciated, lol. Oh well I am just sick and whining, lol.

I eventually want to get to that place. Right now, our online businesses can help with the bills and stuff and for me, I wont power down anytime soon. Just cause I know how you can eventually live off the dividends you can earn daily.

Oh I don’t power down. And thus far the businesses are just barely paying for themselves so it is what it is I guess. But still trying to find a format that brings in consistent earnings has been difficult. Guess it’s back to the normal BS dollar earnings for a while. The run was fun while it lasted, gave me a nice taste of what I want, just have to find that secret sauce format that gets people going, cause apparently I haven’t found it yet like you and @taskmaster4450 have. One day… one day…
