A Symbiotic World: Why You Should Work Towards Being Effortlessly Valuable

Realizing The Essence To Value

As a young man I grew up understanding the essence of symbiotic relationships and how the individual values of different people can be merged to form a formidable wealth of value. The younger version of me understood that one's abilities and talents cannot take them far enough and this was because a person cannot completely embody all the values that will essentially take them to the lengths of accomplishments they desire in life.

I grew up allowing people to tap from my unique abilities while giving me the essential ingredients to utilize my essence which in turns serves them a purpose but exposes me to the resources at their disposal. One of the reasons I worked on myself to ooze of some certain qualities was because I wanted to attract people who can see value in me.

Why Is this?

I'll explain this further. I grew up needy, a lot of people saw limit to how far I could get to in life and this was due to major health issues in my life, so because the people around me felt I'd be dependent on them for financial means, they found it hard to imagine I could ooze and value that could be monetarily beneficial to another person.

Likewise, I needed multiple loans to get an education because the people who were primarily available felt I could die due to those health challenges without returning their money, I could graduate and never get a job to repay, or I could even get a job and be doing fine but never serve any financial purpose to them.

I grew up with business oriented people/uncles/relatives who never invested in anything that wasn't profitable, while this may sound terrible on the surface, it's actually one of those characteristics to wealthy people that keeps them wealthy and even wealthier. To be rich isn't easy, rich people are always scared of being returning to their ground zero and this is probably why some of them are strict with their means.

A Predominant Unfairness?

The world is harsh, most people are extrinsically motivated to behave in ways that are unfair and this is because people are looking to form relationships that are beneficial. I worked a certain job and while I was shitty at doing my main duties, my boss retained me because I was good at marketing.

I had good marketing ideas that drove his business to thrive, but he knew I was terrible on the job, but then he kept on increasing my pay because other people could easily do my job but couldn't drive the traffic he needed to sell his product. It was always a "win-win". I hated the man (my boss) he loved money dearly, he was knowingly ignorant to the "off-work" problems of his employees, he was not concerned about their quality of life.

For him if you weren't happy you should leave the job. The unemployment in the economy drives job owners to be extremely tasking of their workers. Their bloodlust to money made them care "less" about their workers, since the labor market was filled with unemployed people seeking to take shitty conditions just to earn money.

Why Stay In Such A Business Relationship?

While I hated the man, I had to work for him, I had to create an illusion that I was more valuable than I seemed because I knew I was terrible on the job. So we had contrasting reasons to remain in a business relationship. While this felt cringy and queer it's a harsh world and one has to live with it. In reality, I'm not saying people should remain in business relationships that are toxic. Every Nigerian who has worked 9 to 5 have experienced toxic business relationships and because they needed the money, they had to cope until they could not cope again. This was why I stopped 9 to 5. Toxic environment takes away the best people could offer.

I understood this and that's why overtime I tend to form relationships with great minds, so we can get to merge the value we represent to create a idea that could generate returns, while working in the best of business environment. I'm always critical of people who don't add any value, but take and take. This isn't because what they do is all bad, it's because I know I'm inadequate and should probably establish relationships that should make up for these inadequacies.

Needless to say

.......value births value, you probably won't attract people who have value to give if you yourself are not valuable or refuses to give out value. This isn't greed it's how the world works. Everyone is inadequate, but offers substantial value in unique ways, but the way we develop our unique abilities becomes a beacon to attract the value you represent.

In reality having money is quite different from being valuable. You might be wealthy, but your wealth is a charade and never impacting. One thing is, even if you feel less valuable, creating the illusion that you are by making attempts also endears people to you. One of the best non-monetary value is loyalty. Because it's rare, it makes it invaluable.

While I do not hold any grudges on my billionaire uncles for not seeing any prospective value that could yield them returns if they invested in me, the realization that that's how the world works made me comprehend my inadequacies and worked hard to be better.

It's definitely a long journey and I guess I was lucky enough to get my degree without having to get out a loan. In a way, the financial aid was large enough for me to pay off for my own living costs because I didn't splurge and saved. It's tough to know that your friends/family did not want to loan out to you but I have noticed that there aren't many people who save up a decent amount.

You were probably lucky, if I may ask, what country are you living in?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I live in the US so there is a way to sign up for government financial aid.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thats totally awesome, over here it is totally impossible

Well the financial aid is more for people who don't earn that much and you are below the middle class income range. At that point, my parents didn't earn much so I could get the maximum of whatever I could claim from the government. It's enough to survive if you don't spend a lot.

I like the fact that you now kind of understood their point of view although there could have been room for you to prove yourself worthy. @josediccus This is one of the reasons I di give people the benefit of doubt for them to atleast prove themselves worthy of what I may have envisaged in them. I learned a whole new mentality in here. Good work, boss.

It's a life-long journey, to create that effortless symbiosis where what we love not only creates wealth, but enables others to flourish and thrive.

Some nice thoughts here!

Sometimes when I think about it, it seems rather difficult, but then, creating such relationship enable us to effortlessly thrive collectively without having to individually feel bereft despite our talents and all that. Thanks for dropping by.

The unemployment in the economy drove job owners to be extremely tasking of their workers

This is actually their strength. Those 'employed' are even grossly underpaid despite working in a Terrible environment. This will sadly continue as long as man exists.
The employers know if they continue with the peanuts pay and maintain a hostile environment, the chances of one having a financial independence or intellectual capacity to start one's business are slim which will reduce competition for them and help them maintain their bossy status.

The employers know if they continue with the peanuts pay and maintain a hostile environment, the chances of one having a financial independence or intellectual capacity to start one's business are slim which will reduce competition for them

This is another interesting motive, for there to be enough labour, people would need to be unemployment. So if people owned their businesses, it'll be difficult for these brutal bosses to have people to pay peanuts at their disposal.

Value birth value .. Chief well said.

But people cast pearls to swine and I wonder if they understand just what value means.

I dont blame your folks too, they were too business driven, they may have needed something more advertizing to recognize your potentials more.

Well in life, we don't some sort of incentives to help others except we truly didn't want to. Im glad they didn't because it toughened me.

You write really well. I love the way you weaved the words, talking about the harsh employment realities.

So we had contrasting reasons to remain in a business relationship. While this felt cringy and queer it's a harsh world and one has to live with it.

Obviously, the world is harsh especially is most workspace environments.

I am happy in your ability to thrive in certain harsh situations.

When it comes to survival everyone begins to realise their hidden potentials. Thanks for the compliment, getting to polish my writing skills daily.

Although I understand the fact that one should never be a parasite to anybody - it should be a win-win in a relationship.
@josediccus I learned a whole new mentality in here. Good work, boss.

A parasitic relationship is what we mostly see around nowadays, some people deem it to be normal to be parasitic in nature, it's definitiely crazy.

Exactly, and thats a big societal issue which needs be iron-handedly addressed!

Like attracts like. It is the law of the universe. So a perceived value attract value. There's a lot to learn from this piece. Thanks for putting it out.

Thanks for coming through.

You're welcome

Obviously survival has made Nigerians heartless in away and only care about thier families and themselves alone because they thought this country can't be good neglecting the fact that with or without them what will be will be. The world is changing everyday and must focus more on self development

Well I actually won't blame anybody. Times have passed where I become dissapointed and devastated in people, nowadays I just stay mute and move on. Thanks for dropping by brotherly.

This is such a touching life story of yours sir.

I learnt a lot sincerely speaking.
I almost cried. People look down on each other easily.
They never knew you'd be this great.

And you are still rising.
Employers are kinda strict. And the point you made is extremely true.

Thanks for this content sir, more grace.

Thanks for the comment. I learnt a lot working for a lot of people, one can never truly attain quality of life working in a Nigerian environment. My experience has taught me really hard in life. It's why I basically feel that life requires symbiotic relationships, it's important to be valuable to oneself, then ooze value which others can tap from. Thanks for dropping by, I'm glad the experience resonates with you.
