For the second season in a row, I have reached the 40k Glint milestone and received approximately 82k in Glint rewards.
I believe this is due to the fact that I have been able to accumulate some decent soulbound cards and use them to compete against human opponents.
Some of my soulbound cards have grown stronger, and I will not say I am lucky to have them because I worked hard to earn them and bring them to this level. Of course, my SPS earnings have not increased; I need more staked SPS to do so, but winning allows you to earn more consistent SPS rewards, even if they are small.
However, it is still difficult to play against top players; these guys are not just clever with their tactics; they are spoilt for choice, and sometimes I go on an 8 to 10 game losing streak and the system keeps pitting me against top opponents, especially if I have had a good winning streak. It is all part of the fun; if you do not lose, you will not enjoy the victory.
Playing Is The Best Way To Utilize Cards
Again, I am just glad to put my cards to use. As I previously stated, my cards are currently losing more than 90% of their value, and the only thing I can do with them is use them to earn SPS rewards.
One of the most positive aspects of Splinterlands is the SPS price, which has recovered nicely in recent months; however, the cards remain at a significant loss, particularly the Choas legion set, which accounts for more than 80% of my card collection.
Spending Glints
So I have prioritized epic, rare, and common soulbound cards. My glint rewards are too small to pursue legendary cards. Most Legendaries are not even formidable, though some are; however, anyone looking to maximize their Glint rewards should avoid soulbound Legendaries because they are also too expensive.
Epics have proven to be the most valuable cards.
This time, I got about four, but I could not get one more Olivia of the Brook to complete the level. If I could get that mimic ability at level 2, it would most likely be the highlight of my season; I am confident I will destroy opponents.
I played against it, and the opponent completely destroyed my lineup by utilizing my own strategy against me. I was tempted to buy more epics, but I could only afford four, plus rare and common cards.
Gladius Cards
I received about 4 Gladius cases, and there was nothing particularly good except a gold level 3 Katrelba Godson, which I had to burn because I already had a level four.
However, I did obtain one BCX of Helmet Kharafax and level it up to four, giving it the void ability.
I played this card at level four and lost to my opponent because of its void ability, so having a void ability on this card when using or facing magic cards with weapons training is a very useful ability.
Hopefully, it'll be a better season, I'll be aiming to hit 40k Glint rewards again for the third season..
