Who Are Hive Creators With The Best Clickbait Titles?

I saw a post from a frequent Hive user, and three of his previous posts in less than a week have been like this: titles with clickbait, which I like. It may appear strange, but being a content consumer requires attraction or motivation to consume, and the majority of the time, this motivation comes from the creator themselves.

An uninspiring creator gives you fewer reasons to engage with their content.

Some people believe that consumers must do all of the work, but in reality, creators must provide multiple reasons why their content deserves organic engagement, which can begin with the choice of titles and extend to elements such as images. Now, I am not saying clickbait is perfect; I am just saying it can be used to spice up content.

This does not imply that you should completely deceive your audience with ideas that are unrelated. Many YouTubers and bloggers on web2 do this in a very diabolical way, but here on Hive, I have seen people do it so well and it turned out great.

We can sometimes tell whether or not someone is using clickbaits simply by knowing them. When people I follow use clickbait, I believe it will be easier to identify because I follow them and understand the types of content they produce.

For this Hive user I'm talking about, a lot of people knows him and apparently most of his clickbait titles are not what people would associate with him.

Now, he uses it in such a creative way that it is quite appealing, and I believe it requires a certain level of concentration to do so. It demonstrates how much effort he puts into creating, as well as how much he cares about people checking them out. Although he is aware that his devoted readers understand what he is attempting to accomplish, he continues to try to spice things up, which I greatly admire.

For example, imagine a pregnant person posting and saying "I have finally given birth." Of course, everyone knows that a pregnant person will give birth, and a post with such a title may not receive as much attention or clicks from random users who open a post out of curiosity rather than because they are truly interested in reading.

For a big user, you might think this guy will be satisfied with the engagement reach of his current audience; however, using clickbait is a way to say "please read this, open it, you will like it"

Now, I know many big users on Hive, and once they are big, they only post drab stuff, drop a few links and pictures, and rely on their bigness on the chain to do the magic, and as expected, they will get attention because they have the stake to garner engagement for themselves.

It is the complacency that comes with being influential and having a large stake; there is a diminishing return when you become influential on Hive, and some people just fall for this complacency; it literally makes their social front uninteresting to click on.

In Conclusion

I believe that most people judge the quality of their content based on how well it is perceived; people like this care about what others have to say about it, whereas some users simply dump the post and do not care what anyone else says.

It is difficult to improve your creativity when you do not care what others think of your content, which is why some creators are rigid, only concerned with what they stand to gain from the end consumer.

There are people who genuinely enjoy creating, and you can see them experimenting, trying new things, and looking for ways to increase engagement. If you are one of those people, you can try your hand at clickbait; it is a lot of fun and a great way to spice up your content.

I clicked on this post because the title got me hooked - I was expecting you to drop the name or link to that "creative clickbait" genius you kept referring to, so we could all visit his posts and see what you meant.
