Within the past few hours reports are emerging that, for the first time since it's inception 15 years ago to the week, some movement has been noticed in the original first Satoshi Bitcoin wallet.
Just three days ago on the third of January we celebrated Bitcoin's 15th birthday. The anonymous Satoshi mined the first ever Bitcoin on January 3 2009. This week bitcoin passed its 15th birthday and since it's inception no bitcoin has ever moved from that original Satoshi wallet, where around 3 million dollars with of Bitcoin currently sit. These bitcoin have never moved and the original satoshi wallet has never shown any activity in the past 15 years since its origin.
Nobody knows who this anonymous Satoshi is and that is one of the biggest mysteries behind all of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in general. And yet today, just hours ago for the first time in its 15 year history, bitcoin movement was monitored in that very same wallet.
That being said, it needs to be clarified that no coins moved out of the wallet. Rather some unknown person sent 1 million dollars worth of Bitcoin to the Satoshi wallet.

Nobody knows for sure who this above bitcoin address belongs to but that is the address of the individual who just sent almost 30 Bitcoin to the original Satoshi wallet address.
Is it just and advertising gimmick by some whale who can afford to splash out a million dollars worth of Bitcoin? After all, once those coins are in that wallet only the original owner, namely Satoshi themselves, can actually access those Bitcoin to move them once again or to cash them out.
And since no coins have ever moved from that particular wallet, it now contains almost 100 Bitcoin in total, worth over four million dollars at today's price.
And since no coins have ever moved from that wallet it is likely that no coins ever will. Therefore, the person at the above address seems to have moved these extra Bitcoin to that Satoshi wallet merely as an advertising gimmick.
There could be much more going on of course. These are just observations and rumors that are currently circulating over the past few hours. One thing is for sure though and that is the fact that all transactions can be monitored on the open distributed blockchain Ledger.
And so today, for the first time in 15 years, this movement of Bitcoin - not out of the original satoshi wallet but into it - seems even more strange than ever.
I can think of no one who would whimsically burn a million dollars worth of Bitcoin by sending it to a wallet address without any way of ever removing it from that wallet. But then what do I know? Who can say what may go through the minds of those who have the odd million dollars to splash about without any need for return on that investment.

The above is the original Satoshi Bitcoin wallet address. I find it interesting to note that the last six characters in this address appears to spell the word "divina" if you substitute the "f" for an "i" which is actually what it appears to look like at a cursory glance.
I wonder if that was intentional by satoshi? Either way, this is the original wallet and anyone can look up the transactions on the open ledger at any time. There you will observe how the original Bitcoin have remained unused and how just a few hours ago an extra 27 bitcoin were added to that stash.
This is hot breaking news, enough to turn some heads even if it's just an advertising gimmick and nothing ever comes of it. I personally certainly do not believe that Satoshi Nakamoto will ever appear on the scene again to move there bitcoin from that original wallet.
Perhaps Satoshi Nakamoto is no longer even alive and those coins (along with around 3 million other Bitcoin) are all lost forever. Now we can add this recent addition of 27 Bitcoin to those lost forever.
One person who could have been Satoshi Nakamoto was one of the early Cipherpunks and computer coders by the name of Hal Finey. Since he passed away some years ago, I believe it is unlikely but any other person will ever emerge as the real Satoshi Nakamoto, the actual founder of Bitcoin.
It's unlikely that someone like Elon Musk will fit that bill. And certainly that other pretender Craig Wright has no claim to the title of Satoshi, other than in his fertile imagination in my opinion.
Therefore this mystery is actually bigger than we might think. After all, no one in their right mind would dump a million dollars into a locked wallet, so something very unusual his going on here.
I leave it up to you to do some more research if you wish and try to get to the bottom of this mystery of the recently active original satoshi wallet that has now come to life for the first time since the birth of Bitcoin 15 years wallet.
If you have any ideas or insights as to what might be going on here, then please leave them in the comments below so that some more light can be shed on this perhaps the greatest mystery of the year so far.
