Singapore, February 4, 2025 – Travala, the crypto-native travel booking service, has partnered with trivago, one of the top global accommodation metasearch engines, to integrate Travala’s complete hotel inventory of over 2,200,000 properties on trivago.
In this groundbreaking move, Travala, that was the first blockchain-based travel booking platform, (I still remember the bullish posts by @trumpman about it) has announced a strategic partnership with Trivago, which is one of the world's top hotel booking websites. With this collaboration, over 2.2 million properties all over the world will be added to Travala's extensive hotel inventory.
What does it mean for travelers?
Travelers will be able to book accommodations using various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and (not to forget) Travala's native token, AVA.
It remains to be seen if $AVA reaches or exceeds its ATH - but overall it is definitely a great move to the travel industry.

Both Travala and Trivago are combining their travelers segments by allowing cryptocurrency payments and moreover, users who will book via Travala will earn crypto rewards as part of their AVA Smart Program.
