Centralized Exchanges, whether some of us like it or not, can make crypto easier to the mainstream users who do not have the experience or the knowledge of how to use DeFi. Additionally, many of them offer an easy way to deposit and to utilize earned crypto. In this case, we will show how easy it is for a hive user to transfer their crypto to Bitget and then, to either invest it or spend it!
- Bitget has a card, right now available for their VIP users, but it will be hopefully soon be available for everyone
- If you do not have a Bitget account, you can use my referral link to sign up - and you can read this pos where I say more about this exchange
- If it is the first time you hear about Hive, then you may want to read this post
This is the desktop application, the procedure is the same when using the app
.1. You will need a hive account and a bitget account :) See above for links with more info
.2. You can use any hive wallet, in my case I will use the hive.blog wallet.
.3. Log in both bitget and also in the bitget app
.4. Go to the bitget app and click on Deposit
.5. Choose HIVE both as a token and as network. I also noticed today that in case of anything that may go wrong, you can request a refund! Please make sure to send over $HIVE and NOT $HBD This is a usual error happening to many accounts that are sending the wrong token in Binance -

.6. You will see that there is already a substantial amount of $hive bought and sold through Bitget, I am impressed!
You see the address and the memo!
Make sure you include the memo - or else you will not receive your money!
It was very quick to send the money from my wallet, you can see it immediately:
Seconds later I received the message by Bitget
.7. Here is my deposited $hive!
If you have bought or traded hive and wish to transfer it to hive, you will click on withdrawal and proceed with the process.
This was it!
I hope you will find this useful.
Please remember to always do ANY transaction you do for the first time with a SMALL amount and always follow the instructions - same network and remember the MEMO!
Thank you for supporting and please let me know which is your favorite CEX (Centralized Exchange or DEX Decentralized Exchange below!) - Of course you can also share ref links :)
