Buying Rising Star Assets which is better via HIVE or STARBITS?

Hi guys. I just want to share some of my regrets when I started playing this game. I didn't have STARBITS token when I started the game, and I only had SWAP.HIVE in my wallet. That is why I purchased the majority of my assets through HIVE.

I was quite enthusiastic about purchasing those cards/assets. I noticed that my account was growing and that I was making progress in the game, so I purchased these assets and bundles without hesitation.

These are the assets that I purchased with my HIVE token at the NFTMart.
I used 40 HIVE to buy the 12 pack promo once, and I bought a bunch of the 4 HIVE.
However, STARBITS can be used to purchase these packets; a 12-pack costs 100,000 STARBITS, while a single pack costs 10,000 STARBITS.

These are the cards that I saw in a YouTube video and thought I needed. That's why I used my HIVE TOKENS to purchase these cards.

STARBITS PER HIVE PRICE

The current price of SWAP.HIVE to STARBITS in the HIVE-ENGING is 0.00030003 at the time of writing. For 0.30003 HIVE, you can get 1000 STARBITS.

As a result, I lost 1 HIVE TOKEN for each pack I purchased, and I lost 10 HIVE TOKEN for the 12-pack promo.

COMPARING THE PRICES

These prices of these cards and the image are taken from NFTMart.

HIVE

I don't recall exactly how much I paid for these cards, but I purchased 3 COLD PIZZA SLICE, 3 PIZZA BOX, and a COFFEE CUP for a total of 18.64 SWAP.HIVE.

STARBITS

If I choose the STARBITS option to purchase these cards, it will cost me a total of 57,500 STARBITS.

CONVERTING THE STARBITS TO SWAP.HIVE

I used Hive-Engine to convert the tokens. And if we convert the STARBITS to HIVE the total would be 17.251725 SWAP.HIVE.

If I had purchased them with the STARBITS token, I would have saved 1.388 HIVE.
This difference may not seem significant to some of you, but it is significant to me because I could have purchased another card with this amount.

AFTER THOUGHTS

After joining the discord and the Rising Star community, I started learning about the game more and realized the mistakes that I made. I could've avoided those mistakes if I did my research or asked questions. I hope you guys don't do these mistakes that I did, and if you don't know something about the game just go to the rising discord channel(here) and don't hesitate to ask them questions.

It's always a good idea to compare the prices. Sometimes you might also want to check the other options like WAX because it could also be cheaper. The lister might not have updated their prices and I have gotten a few cards cheaper than usual because of it.

Well, I was talking more about the internal market. For example, X SWAP.WAX might be cheaper than paying HIVE sometimes and it usually happens when WAX prices go up. I am not sure if people list it anymore for WAX though. I also don't play around on the WAX market because it's more annoying to find out information there.
