Synergy between Hive and DAOs. Dreams can also be tokenized.

A big greeting to the whole hive and especially to the LeoFinance tribe. With this post we continue the exciting adventure that involves for the moment a gliding flight and not yet a deep dive into the Defi world, smart contracts and other crypto trends. In that order of ideas, in the world of decentralized finance and cryptocurrencies two very clear horizons are drawn, each with enough potential to create powerful niches that can transform the world as we know it today.

The first is the one we have already published a post on and which we will continue to develop in this paper, and it is none other than the decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO). The other dimension to which I refer and which is already a reality in full development with a potential that is lost sight of, is the metaverse. We will deal with the latter in the future as it is a very broad and fascinating topic.

For the above reasons, I personally believe that DAOs will play a very important role in the creation of new institutions, governmental entities as well as business and social organizations. However, in order for this to happen, we must first change the prevailing paradigm, and above all we must not have any resentment or distrust of creating DAOs in the different sectors mentioned above, since these organizations - without pretending to promote them as panaceas - can innovate outdated models related to the current inefficient social and economic organizations.

This is where, in my opinion, Hive plays a pivotal role as the initial financier of many DAO projects that could be implemented around the world. These projects could give the platform not only a media presence, but a return on its investment that could become one of the productive foundations of the hive.

The world is crying out for organizations to advise and finance projects, programs and undertakings that have been held hostage for centuries by the fiduciary system. The most serious thing is that this agonizing and elitist system cannot meet the demand that exists due to the way it works, the bureaucratic obstacles and the limitations of the system.

So the question that arises is: How can we become a leveraging entity of this form of organization and business? The answers have to come from the community itself, from the developers and, why not, from the big investors that govern it.

The needs are everywhere, the opportunity to transform them into business is also there and the resources are largely available. So what is needed is a firm and studied decision to undertake. My proposal is simple: to give Hive a more productive rather than speculative base.

What do I mean by giving Hive a productive rather than speculative base?

It is a well-known fact that from 1972 onwards, what many economists call non-asset backed counterfeit money appeared on the scene. This occurred due to the elimination of the dollar from the gold standard that supported it. As a result, an abysmal difference was made between what is real money and what only serves as a financial vehicle. Real money is backed by assets, the other is not.

In that order of ideas, just as there is counterfeit money, there are also toy cryptocurrencies that do not have the required support, since they are not backed by good projects, nor by expert teams and sufficient resources to give them that indispensable platform. It is true that all cryptocurrencies are volatile, no matter how well supported they are. However, it is one thing to have cyclical and acceptable volatility that can be taken advantage of in the market versus uncontrolled downturns and the bankruptcy of investors.

So far Hive has weathered these ups and downs and the community has remained loyal to the ecosystem, but it wouldn't hurt to look to the future.

In this sense, it would not hurt the platform to be healthy and invest in assets that give more strength to the community, for example: shares in hydrocarbons, precious metals, real estate, innovative goods and services, and why not; social and entrepreneurial projects based on the DAOs.

I recently read an article from hiver mcsamm called: "Introduction of a proposal for the construction of beehive well water systems for villages in Ghana", which increased my faith in the possibilities of the platform to serve as a financial and social project support to help the implementation of projects in different parts of the world.

It was gratifying to see how an entire community was provided with a water well that will alleviate the lives of hundreds of people, in something as important as the requirements of this vital liquid for domestic use. Like this, our community has collaborated with many projects and will surely continue to do so.

Dreaming a little, it would be great if the hive itself would encourage investment in those assets mentioned and provide the facilities for that purpose. That would make the hive a much more consolidated currency than it already is.

I am Venezuelan and I am witnessing how in my country and my region oil is making a comeback driven by private companies. Also in our land we have very poorly managed precious metals and for sure there will be opportunities for emerging companies with a more transparent and efficient management of them. The crypto world has no reason to be at odds with the reality of the planet, its people and their needs.
