MAJOR Changes to How Hivers Can Earn LEO Tokens

in #hive-16792210 months ago

The LEO Token economy is undergoing some groundbreaking transformations! We're excited to share with you the significant changes that have been implemented recently, all designed to enhance the sustainability and value of the LEO ecosystem.

In This Episode:

  • We've made some major changes to the LEO Token economy lately
  • Many changes related to tokenomics can be viewed in the docs at https://docs.inleo.io/the-leo-token-economy/tokenomics
  • A major change to posting: to earn LEO rewards, your posts must originate (be published on) inleo.io
  • A revised focus on building sustainable economics for LEO. To earn the token, you must provide value by building the platform

First off, we've made substantial updates to the tokenomics of LEO, which are now detailed in our comprehensive documentation. For those eager to dive deep into the mechanics and philosophy behind these changes, visit our docs at https://docs.inleo.io/the-leo-token-economy/tokenomics. Here, you'll find everything you need to know about the new direction we're taking with LEO Tokenomics.

One of the pivotal changes we're introducing is related to content creation and rewards. To earn LEO rewards moving forward, your posts must originate from inleo.io. This means that for your content to be eligible for LEO rewards, it needs to be published directly on our platform. This change underscores our commitment to fostering original, high-quality content that adds value to the LEO community.

At the heart of these updates is a revised focus on building sustainable economics for LEO. We believe that to earn the token, one must contribute to the platform's growth and success. This approach ensures that the LEO Token economy thrives on meaningful contributions and engagement, rewarding those who genuinely invest their efforts into building and enhancing the platform.

In this video, we'll walk you through these major updates, explaining how they impact you and how you can align with the new LEO Token economy to maximize your rewards. Whether you're a content creator, an investor, or a community member, these changes are designed to enrich your experience and engagement with LEO.

In other words everyone must post from the LEO WEBSITE. Well thanks for sharing this update with us. I get that you are trying to increase the value of the platform and that’s a good way to start.

They're major changes. So, will posts that are not published on inleo be shown on inleo? What I really want to ask is, will I need to check whether the posts I see on inleo are published on inleo?

22% for delegation, very cool.

This is a major change and good for Leo believers to earn more Leo.

A major change to posting: to earn LEO rewards, your posts must originate (be published on) inleo.io

Unfortunately, in an iOS mobile environment, the inleo.io interface mangles my formatting. A post that PeakD handles just fine previews like this:

Some more work for the inleo team to fix. I think/hope this is on the way....

I think limiting $LEO rewards to content published only on INLEO makes sense; should generate some site loyalty, to be sure.

What about people who are actually posting through the Leo website and also even using the proper thread but are not been upvoted? What should they do

Hanging out on threads could help, instead of only using threads to promote posts. Engaging is part of the curation selection as well.

And probably using Inleo more often instead of once every many posts. That would make the author more visible and easier for the Inleo team to pick their post for curation. Leo.voter doesn't vote 100% of the posts created from Inleo every day so chances are more participation = more curation

Muy interesante esta actualización, vienen cosas buenas

We can write on any topics, not only on finance. That's hasn't changed, right?

!ALIVE

@leofinance! You Are Alive so I just staked 0.1 $ALIVE to your account on behalf of @ hafiz34. (6/10)

The tip has been paid for by the We Are Alive Tribe through the earnings on @alive.chat, feel free to swing by our daily chat any time you want, plus you can win Hive Power (2x 50 HP) and Alive Power (2x 500 AP) delegations (4 weeks), and Ecency Points (4x 50 EP), in our chat every day.

Amazing updates to boost rewards for Lions. Love it!

It is a pity the images that are uploaded via InLeo do not display on all the other front ends. After 694 blog posts on investing on those front ends, my readers like to see the images. Now I do understand the problem is to do with those front ends, this does not feel like the inter-operability we are used to.

Why is there no payout for the last 5 days? @khal

So what should I do if I don't receive anything for my @leo.voter delegation since feb 13? Additionally, the inleo site still unusable in the keychain browser so I can't review those settings. @khal?

I first have to think about whether I really like this change. I would perhaps have found it better if InLeo was also so good that you could post via InLeo. I'm doing that at the moment, but only because I want to test it. But I'd rather continue to post about Ecency, because it's much better, and I've already posted why in the last few days. Various things that are simply implemented much worse here.

And now I think such a compulsion is counterproductive. What if all other platforms were to start hiding InLeo content? Would that be good for users? Something like that could possibly lead to this.

The priority should be to improve and only then introduce any restrictions

Was, wenn nun alle anderen Plattformen anfangen würden InLeo Content auszublenden. Wäre das für die Nutzer gut? So etwas könnte möglicher Wiese aber dazu führen.

Priorität sollte darn liegen zu verbessern und erst dann irgendwelche Restriktionen einzuführen
