Everyone is allowed to participate in the sprint but first you need to join Crew3 and possibly position yourself as a kitten in the Leoverse. Isn't that amazing?
So you might as well start now to get registered with this linkAlso the Leo Power Up Day #LPUD which comes up on the 15th of every month, whereby members are encouraged to power up considerable amount of Leo with a prize given to the winner(s).
For the notice, the #lpud for the month of April is in 9 days time, hope you are getting ready to be part of it. Last month was huge and I'm sure this month will be massive. The Leoglossary, Daily Leo, Cubfinance, Leopedia, Leothreads etc with Leothreads being the new revolution.
Leothreads is not just a platform where you write and publish short form articles or contents, it is micro blogging in a higher dimension on the Hive blockchain which is a decentralized Web3 which surpasses twitter and the rest.
Since I registered on Hive and got on board Leothreads few months ago, I have enjoyed every single minute spent on #threads. Not only that I've gotten so many benefits from #threads, which I'm sure some of you have too.
If there should be a count of people who enjoy #threading, I will definitely be among the top 10, no doubt and I commend the team for making it more enjoyable by the day.
The new Leo UI has been in alpha mode for the past two months now and since then, the team have been dolling out updates and new user friendly features regularly which has made #threads cool, comfy and very enjoyable.
The recent features in threads are super amazing;
One of them which is the beautiful thing about #threads now is that before you start writing something on the text bar, you will see a message prompt on the interface like the one on the screenshot below
I just love seeing these messages. It makes you want to spend all day #threading. Well, some days I do.With the "trending" icon added, it makes it easier for users to look up trending threads and engage where necessary.
The "latest" icon automatically shows the newest threads that have been published so you don't have to start scrolling to find them. Just a click and you have it.
By clicking or tapping on the "following" icon, you can easily see the users you follow.
The latest, trending and following icons are on the top of the interface page. The use of memes, polls, gifs, which are also recent additions to the thread features. So if you love using any of the features to express your ideas and contents, Leothreads got you covered. Infact, memes were added few days ago and it's already spreading and increasing engagements on threads too.
Looking at the interface now, you will notice the notification, home, profile icons and the rest are no longer by the left side but below. This also makes it easier to navigate while threading.
With all these amazing features, and more to come, including the official launch of the new UI on 1st May, 2023 leothreads will expand more with more users, communities being part of it.
On Why I Enjoy Threads and Threading
- Thread Is Engaging / Interactive
Being a microblogging platform, engagement is the main focus. On threads, users engage and interact with each other, share ideas, crack jokes, motivate and empathize too. Most especially, if users find out that your #threads usually have quality contents, they engage with you more, and from there follow you too.
This screenshot below shows a clear example of the number of engagements thread can generate. Some generate as many as 50 to 70 engagements on their threads.
- Threads Is Informative
I guess no one will argue this. There are so many information one gets from #threads.
This screenshot explains it all. Immediately I learnt about it, I took action, and I'm glad that I did.
Also this thread is not only informative, showing the price of Hive, but also shows that one can actually spend much time on threads. Well, who wouldn't do so when it's fun and enjoyable.
- Threads Is Educative
Not only does threads inform, it educates too. I see #threads as another school with so many educative contents to learn from. Users thread about relationships, finance, food, gardening, weather, religion, the crypto market etc, and one who reads them will definitely learn one or two things.
- Follow Got Easier
Following members in the Hive blockchain is now easy and fast through #threads. By just clicking on the user's name, then the "follow icon" on the person's profile, you are good to go.
Through this process, one will have the opportunity of building and growing his or her network on Hive. The more people you follow, the more you get people who follow and engage with you too. This is a fact.
Through threads I've been able to follow, connect and make friends with a couple of people on Hive and same thing is applicable to others too.
Check the screenshot below
- Threads Is Rewarding
For some of you on twitter, how many times have you been rewarded for your tweets? I guess none. But when your thread post is upvoted, you earn "Leo tokens" Not only that, users also earn "gosh tokens" for any post links with the gosh tag (#gosh), when such posts are upvoted too. There's also rewards for using tags like #liotes, #gmfrens, #polls etc.
- Threads is Fun
The use of emojis, gifs, memes etc, now make threads a lot more fun. You can thread about any funny content that will crack people up.
I can go on and on about the reasons for which I enjoy threads, but I need to wrap it up here.
So are you still thinking of how to join, #threads, here's the link
Alternatively, you can check this post link on how to register through Hive keychain browser.
Again don't forget to join the Crew3 here for the sprint contest here
Don't sit on the fence, join the #threads revolution now.
