What’s up splinterlandians!
I hope all of you are doing well and hopefully, most of you have opened the season loot chests and collected your rewards by now. Surprisingly, this season is only of 13 days instead of 15 so the the season end will happen sooner. Anyways, after a long time, I gladly reached the Diamond leaderboard and secured the 12th place with red-dog and earned 20k dec after season results. I am very happy with such achievement and surely, the new Chaos cards helped me a lot winning those tough matches in top 40.
Waka Flocka Partnership Announcement offficial post link!
On the other hand, Splinterlands is launching a special summoner Waka Spiritblade through flash sale and only 1000 numbers of this card will ever be printed (960 normal + 40 gold foil) among which, first 500 will be sold on splinterlands official splinterlands Promotion page and the rest 500 will be sold in atomic NFT market in wax chain afterwards. I The requirement in order to buy this card in the flash sale will be 500 vouchers and 5000 sps. This is a collaboration project with Waka Floka who is a popular rapper and Reality TV star. Another cool thing of this particular card will be that this NFT can be used as a digital fashion piece that can be worn using augmented reality in Snapchat. 🤑
The splinterlands token market seems to get a catalyst with the upcoming launch of Waka summoner. Vouchers price has pumped up near 2.5$ and now its being sold for 2.33$ with a good hold. DEC, the main in-game token is being sold for 0.00348$ per unit. The SPS also saw a decent growth over it’s price and currently being sold for 0.147$.
Now , let us move to my main topic as today, I will be showcasing another master blaster from the Chaos edition and as you have already guessed, today’s hero is none other than the Might giant, Grum Flameblade!
GRUM FLAMEBLADE
Grum, the gigantic beast whom even the mightiest warriors of splinterlands fear to go nearby. He can see. From afar as the earth will tremble and the jungle creatures will run away for life while the titan walks towards them.
Grum is the 6th airdrop card that got lunched with the Chaos pack sale event. This legendary edition card belongs to the Fire territory and it costs a whooping 11 mana to use in the battlefield. It’s attack type is melee and it possesses a total of 4 abilities at max level along with a massive amount of defence throu its high health + shield and void shield + void combo. Let’s now a take a deep look at it’s stats level wise.
Bronze
At level 1, this card get 4 melee attack at 1 speed with 5 shield and 10 health. It also possesses the Bloodlust and Void Shield from it’s initial level. By the way its the first non gladius monster to have a bloodlust ability. Monsters with bloodlust ability will gain +1 speed, attack and health (gets negative speed in reverse speed ruleset) each time it kills down an enemy card. On the other hand, due to the Void shield, enemy magic attacks will hit it’s armour first before going for the health.
Silver
At level 2, This monster possesses four Millie attack at 1 speed with 5 armour and 12 health and also gets another ability void due to the void ability it will now take reduced damage from magic attacks.
Gold
At level 3, This monster gets four Melee at work at one speed with five health armour and 14 health and also gets another ability giant killer because of this giant killer ability it will now do double damage against targets that cost 10 or more mana.
Diamond/Champion
At level 4, This monster possesses 5 Melee attack at 1 speed with 5 armour and 15 health while having all the 4 abilities that I mentioned above.
Important Grum Points
- At reverse speed ruleset, Grum gets its true power by being the first attacker of every round. But otherwise, it wont help you in matter of speedy attacks.
- The void shield ability along with a large health + shield is a solid defence against all type of attacks. It can consume multiple big attacks and still stay alive.
- The bloodlust ability will help you gain every stat by +1. So better try to use it in a way that the grum gets to kill the card. Try removing shield, reducing health or blasting them up while making a path for the grum. In reverse speed ruleset however, the bloodlust ability works better as I have played.
- In big mana ruleset matches, the giant killer works best because there’s a good chance that the opponent will use at least 1 or 2 monsters that coats 10 or more mana. Otherwise, there’s no use if this ability.
Market Stat
Grum Flameblade is currently being sold at the market for only 13.63$ onwards and will cost you about 3,852.457 DEC.

- No monsters can be healed in this match.Reverse Speed
- Monsters with the lowest speed will attack the first and the most speed will last and so on.
GRUM FLAMEBLADE
I used the GRUM FLAMEBLADE at the first position because it was a reverse Speed ruleset with a high 50 Mana cap limit. I am using a level four and it has five Millie attack at one speed with five armour and 15 health along with four abilities - bloodlust, void armour, void and giant killer ability.
CORNEALUS
I used the Cornealius at the second position of my lineup Mainly because of its thorns, return fire and Magic reflect ability along with high health and range attack. I am using a level four Cornealius in here and it possesses four range attack at three speed with 12 health along with those three abilities while the healing ability is being disabled by the ruleset Healed out.
IFRIT RISING
I used the the Ifrit rising at my third position mainly because of its recharge and force field ability I am using a level four here and it possesses three magic attack at three speed with eight health along with those two abilities the recharge ability will make him attack every other round but deals with 9X amount of its magic attack. The forcefield ability on the other hand will save itself from attacks that are 5 or more and will only receive 1 damage instead.
TOWER GRIFFIN
I used the Tower Griffin at the fourth position of my lineup mainly because of it’s protect ability. I am using a level 8 hare at it hold 2 range attack at 4 speed at 6 health along with 2 abilities - Flying and Protect.
CYCLOPS
I used Cyclops at the fifth position of my lineup, mainly because of it’s shield ability. I will be using cyclops just before the last monster Doctor Blight so that it soaks up sneak attack if opponent uses any. I am using a level 8 in here and it has 3 range attack at 2 speed with 9 health along with 2 abilities - Stun and Shield.
DOCTOR BLIGHT
I used DOCTOR BLIGHT at my rear most position mainly because of it's poison and weaken ability! I am using a level 4 here and it has 2 magic attack at 1 speed with 4 health along 5 abilities - affliction, camouflage, poison, scavenger and weaken.
Match Result
Well it was it 50 Mana cap limit match and unlike I expected, my opponent didn’t used any monster that costs 10 or more mana. However, it was a reverse speed match and Choose monsters with low speed so that they attack faster. Now let’s see how the Grum FlameBlade performs in this match.
At the first round, my grum attacked first and damaged both the Lord and prismatic energy. The Lord attacked back with its Thorns ability and reduced my grum’s shield to 5. The enemy cyclops attacked next and damaged the shield further down to 1, which was then broken with the Gargoyla Devil’s attack. The ferexia’s blast damage affected the Grum’s health down to 13 after that but I successfully killed the Lord and Prismatic in first round while my Grum, even after taking so much damage is still alive with a large amount of health.
At round 2, my Grum again attacked first and this time, he killed both the damaged Sand Worm and Ferexia General with the help of Zaku’s blast ability and thus gained +2 attack, armour and health (As it was a reverse speed match, the speed didn’t increase). Only 2 monsters were left in opponent’s lineup both of which got taken care of easily by my other monsters and within round 2, I successfully killed all of those enemy monsters with my awesome Grum lineup!
