”It’s not how much money you make, but how much money you keep, how hard it works for you, and how many generations you keep it for.”
- Robert Kiyosaki
Hello Hive Community! Today is Friday and I have decided to make a blog about my finances. I am determined to becoming financial literate and never have to worry about my next paycheck. I want a life where I can take a vacation when I want to. Whenever my family wants something I can give it to them and make them happy. A small effort like this goes a long way, keeping track of your finances makes you realize that it is not easy to make money, that money is a tool that you can manipulate.
Over the last 2 years I have been using an excel spreadsheet that I have created, it is simple and effective but I have come across an advertisement in Facebook showcasing an advanced excel spreadsheet with multiple functions. Today I am going to show it to you guys.
A simple ledger to show me how much I am spending daily as well as monthly.
*This one was a new addition, to see my bills separately.
This is the most important part of my old ledger, I apologize cause I cannot show my numbers for security purposes. This was the time that when I was training for a company and I wanted to make sure that I have a tracker on my investments.
That is all of the functions of my Old Ledger it is simple but it serves its purpose.
Now, I wanna show my new and improved ledger, I saw this on Facebook and I immediately liked it. The graphics and the data are so good and it is easy to use.
Note: This new ledger consists of 10 Pages and all of them are interconnected to each other.
Categories Section
This is where you will put the categories and sub-categories of your transactions.**
Transaction Log
This is the page where you record your daily transactions and what you enter here is linked to the other pages.

This page tracks my net worth and Progress (I have not yet fully tried this page and it is not updated yet).
Annual Budget Tracking
This page tracks my annual budget and tells me if i have overshoot.
Monthly Budget Overview
** This one is my favorite, the graphics and data presented are so simple and clear. you can also tick the box if you have paid your bills for that one. AMAZING!
Savings Tracker
This is where I track the progress of my Investments.
Debt Tracker
I dont really use this much because I don't have a debt so far and the information here is outdated.
No Spend Day Tracker
Another feature that I like because it shows me days that I did not spend anything at all and for me that is a big deal because it is money that I have saved.
Annual Review
Here I can where all of my expenses are going as well as how much income i am earning.
Thank you to all the people who will read this, please upvote my post, reblog it follow me, I appreciate all the efforts that you guys do. Have a great day everyone.
