in #hive-167922last year

Good morning hivers, it been a tough days so far me trying to meet up with quest and finish it quickly on zealy I came late so and just listen to the recap by @breads alongside other host web3 it talk about issues pertaining to growth, engagement, ideas and everything in between. The space show it been a while they had it I just had to listen to the recording of the recap and write my own theory on it and also I was tired through out the day and woke up around 1:57am UTC TIMEZONE. It was educative and really an eye opener to issues relating to how several web3 communities can be visible even after mint. This was part of the zealy task by the #inleo marketing team.

The space, speakers gave reasonable opinions on the various strategies they could put in place to ensure that the growth of their communities does not fall back after a mint. I will be writing on what went on and how this can be help our touch and engagement can be topnotch.

The speaker emphasized on the fact that as a community leader to excel cannot be achieved in instantly, hence, he or she or the team has to be courteous and sensitive to every members needs and concern. And as a leader you have a huge role to play in ensuring that your vision and expectations for that platform are not backfired to the background.

They went on and further talked about the fact that as a community, the founder should not be tight fixed but rather employ some means to reward members for their participation, effort and hard work this could also help to grow the base and get more work done. Also, it was clearly stated that it's not an everytime thing to reward as the community might go bankrupt but employ means like gamification just like the #inleo community is doing. Give tasks that members would partake in, enjoy, work and earn a dividend.

The speaker Markevel he buttressed the point that gamification works so well to keep communities engaged as it shouldn't be boring but rather they should explore and employ means to keep member active. Generally, founders need to be creative and innovative.

We went further and talked about partnership creating partnership was mentioned as another way to keep community engaged. It was even made clear that partnership is different from collaboration. If a community is just starting or needs to expand more it has to join force with other communities or platform to make it work.

---After they discussed on partner ship the ability for members of community to give feedbacks based on their opinions and instincts, it goes a long way to brood engagement. It depicts that this communities are constantly in sync with the happenings in their platform. This approach works by given members a voice to be heard and be somehow involved in decision makings.

The community management engage and maintaining is wholly dependent on the founders and the team, the members are not left out as well as it would help them grow and increase their influence. Maintaining a community and having retention is not an easy task, it involves hardwork, perseverance and commitment.

Communities can plan to host physical or virtual event just like we have the hivefest on hive blockchain and subsequently, activities from this gathering was made available virtually to people that could not make it. Also, using virtual spaces on X and threadcast is a good way to foster engagement.
