Run grace! Run! Glory shouted from behind
They were been pursued by two hefty men who offered to give them a lift home, one their way back from a friend's birthday party.
Grace and glory were best buddies right from high school and were lucky to get into the same college.
Earlier that day, they got an invite from my their colleague. He was hosting his birthday party at a popular hotel in the area.
Glory had a double mind about attending, but grace insisted since the boy was her day one crush, and was hoping she'd get noticed by him at the party.
So the went shopping got sexy outfits and stuffs, got ready around 7pm, then they started heading to the venue.
Getting there, the whole place was crowded with people, but the party was lit. Lots of dancing, drinking and games. Fortunately for Grace, her crush popularly known as Flexi noticed her, he invited her to another room at the hotel. He told her how he had always had eyes on her but was afraid to meet her because she was always with her bestie.
One could tell the excitement on grace's face, it was a dream come true, she was grinding from ear to ear.
When everyone one started looking for the celebrant, flexi had to leave and promised to keep in touch from then.
Meanwhile Glory had been looking for her, since it was already so late, and the road was to risky to go home. But they had an early class the next day.
When grace came she couldn't hide her excitement but glory was too uncomfortable to notice and advice they leave immediately.
Glory tried booking a ride, but the network wasn't connecting, at the same time a black Honda was driving by, the car stopped, then a good, innocent looking young man popped out his head, asking them why they were standing outside that late, they explained everything.
Then offered to drop them home, it took alot of convincing before they decided to join him.
The ride was going smoothly, until the man made a sudden stop, said was pressed and needed to pee. They stopped in front of the man that offered the girls a ride, pushed him to the car, and asked him to bring everything he had on him. His phone money, including his car keys. The man tried to struggle and he was shot instantly.
Meanwhile, grace and glory were already shaking were they were sitted. Glory gathered courage and tried to run from the other door that was open and dragged grace along with her.
But grace was too scared to run, so glory dragged her, with the hefty men chasing after them.
Glory, kept shouting and beckoning on grace to run and save herself. But she couldn't. Luckily they lost sight of the men.
They managed to get home, safe and untouched. But the innocent man who had offered to help them was lying on the road dead, they didn't even get his name.
Since then the girls has a phorbie for late night outings.
