I like to think I’m a simple person, I like simple things and interestingly, quite contrary to most people, I found the Polycub user interface to be simple enough to use, except ofcourse the “claim button” which seems to be a general internal issue.
In my opinion, I’ll say the launch went on smoothly and it sure feels good to have those early $Cub days feeling again.
I started up with pooling about $800 worth of asset in the Pleo-Matic farm. I had to sell off my Plot of splinterlands at around $350, sold off few hive engine tokens lying around, sold some DEC, added some HBD and came up with a total of around $410 to complete the Matic side.
For the PLeo side, I powered down a bit of the Leo I’ve had powered up. My plans for 10k Leo power has therefore taken a little break, hopefully my ventures are successful, I’ll build back at even a faster rate.
My HBD withdrawal arrives in a couple of hours, I’ll be buying back my plot of Splinterlands and replace other tokens with it. Hopefully I can resist the temptation to use it to add to my LP position rather than use it to recoup my portfolio, heh.
Feels different than the last time
I don’t know if it’s just me, but this time feels different, I can vividly remember the first CUB platform, many of us didn’t have as much knowledge as we do now. Now, we have more experienced dev team, more experienced users and vastly improved tokenomics to work with.
I like the concept of the 50% tax on early conversions that is directed to xPolycub stakers, keeps people within the pool, and gives more incentives to further stake Polycub for even more juicy APR’s. This is something that was missing in the first Cubdefi platform and I feel it is really important to the success of Cubs tokenomics
However, it is interesting to realize that the best and most rewarding farm in the whole of DeFi is right within reach. The over 3000% APR in the PLeo-Matic farm is just wow, and as you can see, Leo is responding to this quite well in the markets. I mean who doesn’t want such amazing APR.
If you also look at the stable coin side, Polycub is giving the highest APR on stable coin staking in any legitimate DeFi farm in the space.
I like it, I should have a ton of stables in here, I’m super tempted, aren’t you? What I even find most interesting is that I have no fears for rug pull. What’s most interesting to you about Polycub?
