This could definitely be a distinguishing feature that the new interface has added, as it has birthed the opportunity to not just thread or publish an article but to give them a direction so that the desired outcome will be established.

Very often, there have been cases of the constant addition of features to the new interface, as the new interface seems more or less like an uncompleted building where several works are constantly done to make the building attain a particular height worthy of emulation. This is the same state as the new Leofinance interface.

Since the new Leofinance is meant for all and is built not just for Leo projects but rather has a robust and comprehensive nature that can accommodate other communities on the Hive blockchain, it is of great importance that the necessary tools that will qualify it to be for all should be integrated, and that is the exact same thing that the developers of the interface are working on, and this said feature is one of them.

Earlier before now, threading has been on a general note, such that any thread published will just be at the reach of all the threaders alone without a wholesome direction, just as an article was just something that was attached to leofinance alone. But right now, other communities on hive have been added to objectives as communities have been implemented on the interface, such that after each thread, one can choose a community that best suits it, such as one that is applicable to the publication of an article.

The Help that this Brings

Earlier, when the interface was somewhat in its infancy, the publishing of threads and articles was a one-way process. That being said, if one is publishing an article, for example, it will be strictly a leofinance article and it must be either finance or crypto-related, whereas in the case of threads, if one is publishing a thread, it will be on a general view without a specific community that the thread is going to.

But right now, with the upgrade in features of the interface, threads and articles now have direction as other communities on Hive have been integrated into the interface such that threads and articles meant for a particular community will go straight to that community.

The importance of this includes;

[a]

The interface was nicknamed EverythingApp, so everything about the interface was in line with the name that was given to it. Since the interface was not built for the Leofinance community alone, there is a need for other communities to be integrated so that other users can access Leofinance as easily and use it more often than they have used other DAPPs. But in the case of threads, no other interface has this feature, so it is an added advantage to back up the claims of it being an everything interface.

[b]

In the case of supporting other communities to grow up and use the interface with the constant engagement patterns, which include quests and campaigns that focus on the constant tagging of those smaller communities as in the case of threads, this will make the communities grow as the catch associated with the campaign or quest has to do with people tagging the said community on their threads. The measure of the growth of that community when it comes to using threads to track progress is if, on the right hand side of the general thread space, communities that have received the most threads are in the top five, then will be notable enough that there is an improvement.

[c]

Seeing that this feature has been implemented, articles and threads published using the Leofinance interface will have a direction, and it will be easy for the whales on the blockchain to locate the niche or community that has received the most tags and probably slate in a contest, which would make users be on their toes to win the prize. If inviting people to hive and making them stay is one of the catches on the threads, it will, at the tail end, lead to a massive turnout and onboarding of new users to the hive blockchain.

How to give Your Threads/Articles a Direction

There after writing a thread, the icon that looks like a universe before the thread which is to publish, just click it once and from there all the communities on hive will pop up then carefully select the community you would want to publish it to or have it seen.
