The FATE of Engagement without Threads

Engagement, the most core deal as far as hive blockchain is concerned, has practically been underemphasized by many, mostly because they don't see any reason to engage. Maybe because they don't read other people's articles or simply because they care less about the blockchain, when they publish an article, they have a higher upvote value and belong to a quality curation trail, but they find no reason to engage. I am not saying that those are strictly the reasons behind some people not engaging, but even if they are, THREAD has come through to paddle those reasons into the island of no return as a different dimension of engagement did the new Leofinance interface unveil.

Apparently, it might be possible that the main reason why some people don't engage that much is because their aren't any interactive or pushing features on the interfaces that ignite in users the force to engage, but with the introduction of threads, I can boldly say that engagement and the medium to engage have been greatly restored.

There is something I have observed ever since the introduction of threads, and that is quite true. You can check it out to confirm. Ever since the thread feature came to see a greater light and has drawn the attention of many users even outside of Leofinance, the rate at which people respond to articles in the form of comments has drastically reduced, as even though they read the content, they find it little or no interest to comment below the article, and those that comment more often reduced or left the fold when THREAD was integrated. To a much greater extent, I must say that engagement in the form of interaction before thread emergence was reduced, and threads activated it once more.

The Engagement Pattern that Changes the Course of Dealings on Hive

I've been on this beautiful blockchain for a year, and I understand a little of what engagement means on the Hive blockchain. Engagement on hive blockchain doesn't have a wholesomeness in the sense that when one does any of the listed points below, engagement is complete, but rather engagement here has to do with doing a good percentage of the various points I am about to mention consecutively. The following is the engagement pattern I found:

[a]

Threading

This was integrated by the newest interface in town, which is the Everything App. Threading is the core feature that has brought engagement to a different dimension, not just for Leofinance active users alone but also for others on this blockchain, seeing that the interface wasn't just built for a particular set of people but rather for all users and all communities, as this add-on was implemented some time ago on the interface. Threading is a different form of engagement here on the Hive blockchain, but it is principally based on short-form contents. One can literally thread anything at all at anytime, and a close and almost immediate response is given. From there, engagement grows. One of the benefits of this kind of engagement is that it builds a soul-to-soul conversion, which leaves the two threaders in a close relationship based on the topic of interest the thread carries.

[b]

Comments and Article Publishing

The second of these is the most commonly used method of engagement here on this wonderful blockchain. This kicks off when the person onboards to hive blockchain, writes and publishes the introductory post, and from here engagement starts as there are many people that engage right under the introduction post to welcome the newbie. The newbie, on the other hand, keeps the engagement going by responding to the various comments made under the introduction post.

Outside of the introduction post, there are so many other articles that have been published on different communities on a regular basis that see so many comments, mostly when the topic and body of the article are interesting and engaging.

An active user here on the hive blockchain continues to publish articles on different communities on different bases and in a simultaneous state, comments on other people's articles, and keeps the interaction going. This is also a form of engagement here on Hive Blockchain.

[c]

Stacking and Staking of Community Tokens

So many of the communities here on threads have tokens, and these tokens are gotten through upvotes individually and also from the curation trail that the main curator of that community has. Communities like #cent #neoxian #proofofbrain #leofinance #vyb just to mention but a few are communities with their respective tokens,.

Stacking, as used in this context, is attributed to swapping your hive rewards for each of those community tokens and living them in liquid form, which can be easily accessible any moment when needed Whereas Staking has to do with going through the necessary measures of getting the community tokens, as mentioned above and staking them, it's more like a save. Either way, they are all measures of having the community token.

Some communities find the stackers and stakers of their community tokens to be those who believe in the future of the community, so for them to show a sign that they actually belong to such communities, they stake and stack the tokens, and as such, they are seen as engagers of the community.

My Take on Engagement Fate Without Threads

No Doubt is the fact that engagement means and pattern have been changed by the introduction of a whole new interface with the help of leofinance and the unveiling of a useful engaging tool, which is thread.

Since threads was added as a feature on the new leofinance interface a whole new dimension of engagement has been experienced since its start such that the #zealy campaign was hosted much more on threads. Hundreds of threads were seen the interface per day and to crown it all, one could prepare a threadstorm of up to 5points before it got published More than four threadstorms have already been published within the space of 20 minutes. This continued on and on, and I thought the rate of engagement would reduce after that, but it was all a lie. Threadstorm upon threadstorm is published every day, numerous threads are published every day, and engagement is seen at a very high level as many people now find more reason to thread. What this did was that:

a). It increased the number of monthly active users seen on Leofinance precisely.

b). The number of pages per view also increased.

c). Earnings increased such that short content publishing, which is a thread, pays a lot as many underwent staking and stacking of Leo tokens.

d). The average number of Leo tokens powered up per power-up day increased.

Leofinance executives looking into this as to what threads have done and the base of fulfillment of the nickname given to the interface, "The Everything App," went ahead to accommodate other communities on the Hive blockchain by adding them to the interface, such that one can now publish an article to other different communities through the interface.

Another point to look into is that the stress of having to put literally everything in a long form has been reduced. One can now have a soul-to-soul engagement with a threader on the thread space with ease and with fewer characters. To top it all off, other threaders would also be at liberty to join the conversation as there engagement grows. One can ask questions freely, thread on literally anything with ease and no stress, and to top it all, the constant engager on threads might receive upvotes at the tail end and the name surfacing at the leaderboard feature added recently on the interface, and with this, the threader stands a good chance to earn more.

With all the various means here on the hive blockchain, threading has it all in its pocket. Threading has retired comments on articles to an extent; it has also made earning a bit easier, such that with short-form contents, threaders can earn, and the rate and extent of earning, stacking, and staking of community tokens have been diversified and made easy. Threads came to this rescue.

Indeed, the fate of engagement, its rate, and its level are all encompassed by threads. Have You threaded today?

Thanks for stopping by, friends. Have a lovely day.***

I'm glad people are enjoying it. To me it is too much of a hassle. Everytime I go to upvote something blocks me and I have to go through multiple attempts. As far as replying, the page changes on me and won't let me respond, resulting in similar multiple attempts as upvoting. 🙄🙄

Maybe if you have an issue u can reach out with the tag feedback.
