Hello friends on Hive. I am happy to find courage to start content creation here. This post is a tale of an unintelligent pursuit I made and I learnt a lot of lessons from the experience.

Chasing Shadows: The Hamster CEO Journey
As you would have known that over the past few months, Telegram mini-games became popular and attracted millions of users. I was among those users and I have ben [pursuing the airdrops alongside my Hive posts until last month when Hamster Kombat announced the listing of its token on Binance.
Many of us were brainwashed that we are the CEOs of Hamster Inc. My vision was to make Hamster a household name, a company that would rival even the giants of the industry. I told many friends about it to build my referral profiles and devoted hours of my day tapping and buying assets in the app.
As the weeks turned to days to hours towards the token listing and trading, I told myself that I will be changing my new phone and doing lots of things with my CEO rewards. Definitely, with my efforts, I was not expecting anything short of $500. I can't even tell how such expectations rose.
The D-day came and my tokens were dropped in my wallet. Not just myself, other CEOs were disturbed because we thought we would receive $HMSTR tokens in millions and more. However, we still encouraged ourselves that the listing price would be huge, may be $1 or at worst, $0.1, until September 26 came and we saw the token list at $0.001
Just then, I knew how I had fooled myself. Yes, I say this because I was carried away being called Hamster Kombat CEO not knowing I was chasing shadows. With shame I was able to cash out $5.2 after three months of being around and a month of mining only passive rewards on Hamster Kombat platform.
Hive CEOs Were Thriving While I Was Chasing Shadows as Hamster CEO
While I was busy focusing on the Hamster strategies, Hive's ecosystem was blossoming. Hive is a decentralized blockchain that powers a broad range of applications—social media platforms, content creation spaces, financial apps, and more. Unlike the corporate hierarchies I was used to scavenging, Hive operates on a decentralized model where community members can propose and implement changes, allowing for faster innovation.
The CEOs of Hive-based projects were seizing these opportunities, leveraging decentralization to grow faster, engage directly with their communities, and tap into global markets. What made them so successful? The answer lies in the fundamental differences between traditional corporations and decentralized entities like those on Hive.
As the CEO of Hamster Inc., I focused on the wrong metrics - revenue projections, team expansions. While these are essential for running a business, they distracted me from the essence of growth: innovation and community engagement on Hive. How I forgot, I was already a $LEO CEO on Hive.
Above is a screenshot of my INLEO content account where I made over $10 in about 10 days, far better than my $5.2 from Hamster CEO-ship after 3 months. Beyond the money, I missed the learning moments on INLEO threadcast and AMA sessions.
I am sorry!!
That apology is to myself, other LEO CES and Hive CEOs. I deeply apologize because I now know better. I hope the great CEOs on LEO and Hive that were supporting my contents and push will still find a place to forgive me. A special apology out to @taskmaster4450le. I will be back with the #askleo threadcast once I can secure my premium status.
Truth be told, my mindset was trapped in the shadow of traditional business strategies. I believed that with the right investors, Hamster would become unstoppable. However, I was blind to the fact that in the age of decentralization, community-driven projects could grow organically without the need for heavy investment.
Above is my passive income on INLEO while I was away. Everything still worked fine. Earning about 0.23 $LEO daily is great and I want to earn more of that.
I am recovering my status as a true LEO CEO and I won't back out again to shadows. I have learnt my lessons and will gladly share unique knowledge areas I have gathered during my "unintelligent " financial pursuit.
Meanwhile, I remain your friend in Art, fashion and Tech
@nancydominic The Hive CEO.
